Incompetent staff at the Mendenhall, Mississippi location. Could not understand a simple order. It took six times for the cashier to understand the order. She even stated on how confused she was to take the order of two regular wards meals with root beer , one wards quarter meal with root beer and a wards quarters sandwich. Through the process of her incompetency to comprehend she was sighing and rolling her eyes. Well when we received the food the burgers were completely cold and they were shriveled up. The wards quarter meat patties were the same size as the regular smaller sandwich and all were old cold and shriveled. The fries were hot surprisingly. We decided to ask for a refund then after many gasp and a few moments of the workers huddled up talk the lady in charge finally came to the front. She didn’t know how to give a refund so she had to call the manager to walk her through the process. The manager ask can you remake them but she said in a rude tone no they don’t want them remade as I had stated to her earlier that I didn’t . I’m definitely not going to give them a chance to mess with my food as they seemed the very type to do so. During the process she scrolled past my order several times and told her manager she couldn’t find it and when I stated that it’s the second order from the top and pointed at the point of sale display screen she rudely said that’s not it I know what I’m looking for then attempted to cover the screen like someone was trying to copy off her paper on an elementary school math test. She finally send back to the top after a few huffs and puffs and said to the manager I found it. That’s when I couldn’t help myself and said loudly enough for here manager to hear.. that’s what I was trying to show you but you didn’t want to listen.    Read moreWent for rootbeer floats at around 8 pm on a Saturday night. Staff was in the middle of cleaning and prepping for the next day, even though they don't close until 10. They completely ignored us. No hello, no eye contact, just completely oblivious to us for a good 5 minutes. I even went to the bathroom and came back while my wife waited at the register and they still hadn't acknowledged us.
As we were about to leave someone finally took our order. Floats were delicious. We wanted to eat in instead of the drive through....because frosty mugs. This was a mistake because we got to enjoy a nice long rant of a yelling employee about someone possibly quitting and how she didn't blame them.
But the service was so bad that when an old man and (I assume) his grandson came in, after he'd been waiting at the register with no one taking his order (even though there were three employees at the counter) he asked if they were closing.
Also, both the trash can recepticals were taped over with signs and just an open bin in the middle of the floor for trash. I guess it's too difficult to take out the trash from two cans?

A sweet young girl handed me a small cup..as I was tilting the cup to catch the ice cream Dre walked up and yelled "NO, hand me that cup back or you have to pay for the cup, I said the cone was leaning and falling. She grabs the cup and put it back with the other cups and then hands me a very small Styrofoam cup that will not hold all the ice cream. It falls on the car seat and I have to scoop what I could up into the cup. I showed her what happened and asked for a cone done correctly and she still argues with me the whole time.
