A guy my husband works with said we should try El Rey Del Taco and boy we are glad we did. Being it is during a pandemic cleanliness and masks mean a lot to us. They were all wearing masks and the place was spotless. We got our meals to go and they were packaged very nicely and everything was hot and fresh when we started eating it. The food was delicious and the menu is varied with many protein options to choose from. We got a bunch of different things and everyone tried a bit of each thing. The salsa was very good and the hot sauces both green and red were very good. It was nice when you order tacos you choice corn or flour shells and if you want them made in the Mexican or American style. The chimi was one of the best we have ever had. Margaritas were freshly made and traditional. Lots of lime and orange liqueur. Salsa was fantastic. Chips could have been fresher. Guacamole needed waaay more life. Asada was kinda meh. Al pastor, delicious. Chicken, delicious. Torta was too big to finish in one sitting (but I got two tacos as well just to try the other meats, so... ), so that was my lunch the next day. Red hot sauce, oh my god, I would have just put it in a glass and drank it. 🔥 stuff. Overall opinion : definitely going back and looking forward...
