Normally if you’d go to a Pakistani restaurant in Bay Area, you will find northern/ Punjabi style Pakistani cuisine or American/ Paki or Indian/ Paki fusion.
This one is different!!!
I am Punjabi who is born and raised in Karachi, so I have tasted the both. I can clearly tell, this is one of the rarest out of many that carries authentic Karachi flavor, heritage and culture. The few Crown Jewels of Pakistan such as Biryani, Nihari and Qorma traveled from Karachi to the other corners. So Imagine eating at a restaurant not with just great taste, but a pedigree behind it.
Keep in mind that the spice level is mild and not hot like a real Karachiate would like, but that’s by design to cater the diverse Silicon Valley’s crowd. And if you really like the Karachi level spice then just let the owner (Adnan) or server know.
