Sweet Orchid — Restaurant in Menlo Park

On Halloween my spouse and I decided to go and find ice cream. And he had mentioned that there was an ice cream spot somewhere past Safeway on El Camino before getting to the mall. When we walked into this little ice cream parlor, it just felt like it was going to be delicious. We looked at the ice-cream and sorbetto and the colors were not neon. Meaning that it was not going to be artificial. Surely I was just extremely fascinated and decided to get a big cone with three scoops. I got one with rum, a cilantro lime and an orange sorbetto also. The cone didn't hold over very well because it wasn't push down enough. But I made sure to weld it by licking it keep it together. It was amazing. My spouse was a little more conservative and decided to go with two scoops in a cup. But I love ice cream and I highly recommend this little sweet orchid place. Also something that I like to actually at is that the girl who helped us was a very sweet and humble girl . Which I felt the need to give her a 20% since she was earning her money as a college...

The cakes at Sweet Orchid are absolutely delicious. I have only tried one cake there, the Taro cake and it was so fresh and the cake was fluffy and not overly sweet with the freshest whipped cream. My coworkers and I practically ate the whole cake in one sitting it was so good. If you like cakes that are not overly sweet with fresh ingredients, this is your place to go. You will be mmmm, mmmm, mmming...

I bought a quadruple chocolate cake for a birthday and it was the best cake I've had for a long time. I asked where they order them from, but they're made by the store fresh!
