Stars Drive-in — Restaurant in Mercedes

Visit 5/14/22 extremely disappointed. We ordered a real lime slush! Real lime not cherry nothing else. Girl said cherry limeade no real lime like the picture! Nope still got a cherry lime slush. Not what I wanted. Grilled chicken salad,she asked with cheese no cheese please! A solid layer of cheese!!!! My husband ordered tatter tots plain! Guess what they came with cheese. Then we had to ask for straws.. no napkins of course that's nothing new. If you'd like to check the tickets it was 392.. so I'm not gonna argue with someone to do there job especially when you have a menu to refer too and a ticket that you read. Whoever was taking orders doesn't pay attention to the customers. Won't be going back to stars.. what happens when someone is allergic to something they ask you not to put on! Let me tell you! The food gets thrown in the trash when they get home bravo $22 for nothing! Never again . Can't wait for new restaurants to be opened! Sorry but not sorry!! Just came to the Mercedes location the workers were great I feel that there pay is too little on what they have to do they go inside charge but I can’t give them a tip cause I don’t have a option on the receipt another thing is notice that a lot of the items have gone up in price if your gonna increase the prices increase the workers pay as well I use to work in the progreso location and it hasn’t changed where you put the large pan of water you cook up the meat and you put the meat in the water and you leave it there until somebody orders the meals then you just reheat the meat and you sell it not fresh at all you guys need to change that method your gonna get somebody sick or killed from food poisoning this is why I don’t ever get any burgers from stars cause of the way you cook them and people who are gonna read this it is the truth and I have friends who work there as well and tell me...

I got out of work late.it was closing time for the businesses. I ordered the #1 nothing special, so I get home my order wass incorrect. I called no answer. I call the next day spoke to manager she said they would honor my burger!😁I was happy! But only for a second. As she continued to talk i became disappointed 😵😥because she told me I had 3 days to come get my order.
