Formacio Pizzeria — Restaurant in Mercedes

Wow..where do I begin...upon getting there not sure if to order at counter or they come to the table to take your order since there is a menu on the table. There is a sign above the counter that says order here so the way their setup is is a little bit confusing for first timers.

We let them know that it is our first time and gave them our order they brought drinks to the table and we waited for the pizza which took quite a while to come out. I ordered the mushroom shrimp pepperoni medium Pizza . When they brought it to the table the waitress just dropped it off did not say anything did not ask if we needed anything else did not bring any utensils just two very thin plates.

Upon looking at the pizza it did not look fully cooked it was very watery all around the middle and had a lot of oil under the pizza. You can see what I'm talking about in the pictures that I posted. The Waitresses never came to ask if we needed anything or if everything was okay. I got up to go to the counter to get some toothpicks they were both standing there they did not say or ask anything they were just into their own conversation they did not even say thank you.

I went to eat there 2 :30pm in the afternoon so it was not a busy crowd. I called right now which is 630 I asked to speak to the manager and the girl who answered said what's wrong and then I said I'd like to speak to the manager she went ahead and verbally told someone they want to talk to you on the phone, the person never came to the phone all you could hear was where they were talking about orders and drinks but never came to the phone so I hung up.

I love the food, and prices but the service is just ok, nothing spectacular.

My only real complaints are that my family and i walked in there at around 8:30 and we all wanted our own individual slices.I asked for what i wanted and the cashier looked at the pizzas that were behind glass that was open in the back and said that they didn't have any of what i wanted.

So no big deal, before i asked for a second kind of pizza i looked over at what she was looking at and I asked if the slices were served from that area and she said yes.

They looked like really old pizza, so i asked how long had they been out there and she said since 4.... Here i was about to eat a slice of pizza that had been left out for over 4 hours and if i hadn't if asked about it they would have served it to me. There were some flies around what if the flies got on my food??? That my friends is disgusting, gross and unacceptable. There should be a time limit for how long they can be out there. They looked like "model plastic pizzas" for displays.

Aside from that the staff was very unprofessional with the cooks teasing and harassing the cashiers and servers and the cashiers attitude towards their customer. Could be that they are young but i would still have a chat with them if i was their manager.

So if ya gonna eat there, order a full fresh pizza and not by the slice unless you see them make it in...

It was my first time ordering from here, I had heard good things. I was disappointing when I was told I couldn't be accommodated when I asked if they could add (for an extra charge of course) "I love you" to the pizza with pepperoni (as I saw several other pictures where they had done it already) I wanted a stuffed pizza so I told the girl that I understand it has a crust on top so I'm ok with you guys adding extra cheese on top so the pepperoni can stick to the pizza, and I was told no. I called again and tried to order a regular pizza in an extra large size so that they could do it this time since it wasn't gonna be a stuffed and I was told again no, now the excuse was that the pepperoni was too big. I told the girl that the pictures online had the pepperoni cut in to small tiles so that it would fit that I didn't mind an extra charge and STILL they refused to do it. I am extremely disappointed as this was gonna be part of an anniversary surprise and now its ruined. I automatically assumed that since they had done it for other people, and they have pictures advertising that they provide this service, that they would do it for me as well.
