Carmine's Pizza — Restaurant in Meriden

We've ordered multiple tones since they opened their doors in Meriden. I've yet to be disappointed. When they say 45min to an hour for delivery don't be scared it's totally worth it! From their Buffalo Chicken eggrolls, Mashed potato pizza and their chicken soup everything we have tried has been amazing! My favorite is their Steak and cheese pizza im not sure of what sauce they use but it is delicious. When I told them about my mushroom allergy they didn't huff or puff like most places they made sure they made a note on our stuff. We definitely have found our favorite spot in Meriden and hope they're there for the long haul. If you haven't tried them you're missing out. Walked in tables dirty and took them a while to figure out if they wanted to clean it or not for us to sit down and considering one of us had a boot on their leg from an ankle injury it was kind of rude to make us just stand there while they decided. Ya order soda they give ya these teenie lil baby cups. Door left open so bugs get into your food, heavily wooded area being across from Hubbard Park. Ya order pizza comes to your table HUGE slices/chunks of peppers, very watery sauce not much flavor and very undercooked bacon which made no sense with as long as it took for the pizza to come out. Horrible pizza worst I've had in years. Ordered 2 large pizzas one with meatballs had only about 6 little pieces of meatballs. One pizza with bacon the bacon was about 6 stripes of bacon laid across pizza wasn't broken into pieces like every pizza maker does. Crust was so hard couldn't chew it. Only went there because I used to go when it was Angelina's and it was delicious best pizza around and the prices were reasonable. Carmine's has increased the price. I won't be going...
