I would like to say that my experience just now wasn’t the fault of this location, but rather that of their website and the supervisor I spoke to. Once every couple weeks, I penny pinch to be able to surprise my four kids with a pizza night. Tonight, was supposed to be that night. I logged into the app like I always do and built my order, but when I went to pay for it with my debit card, there was an error that popped up saying “something went wrong” and to try again. So I did and got the same error. Then I logged into my bank account to find that the total of almost $45 was taken out of my account three times.
When I called the store they had no record of an order placed by me and sounded really confused. They decided to transfer me to a supervisor because they couldn’t figure out what happened. The supervisor I spoke to told me they were having issues with their online ordering system and that they were trying to fix it. He then told me that the 3 orders would be refunded to me within the next 3-5 business days. I get that refunds take that long typically and there is nothing they could do about that, BUT... then he tells me that he can put my order through again, but I would have to pay for it AGAIN. They already took over $130 out of my bank account! I told him that I shouldn’t have to pay for it a fourth time, that I have four kids and I have bills to pay. I don’t have enough to pay for it a fourth time. Then he told me he could give me a 50% discount. I repeated again that they already took $130 out of my account and was told there was nothing else he could do for me. Was also told there was no one else I could speak to.
I’m just a single mom who was trying to put smiles on my children’s faces after having a really, really terrible week. All I wanted was to see those smiles. My kids needed a little happiness tonight, I needed it, my mental health needed it. I worked for Pizza Hut as a teenager and very clearly remember my manager making things right for the customer when things like this occurred. I have never experienced such terrible customer service before in my...
Read moreI wish I could give it NO STARS! This was the absolute worse experience I've had, by far! The Meridian Valley Humane Society had been contacted by NPC International, the corporate office that owns this store, to have a fundraiser at this location (1752 W. Cherry Lane, Meridian, ID). Our fundraiser was last night (Nov. 19th, 2015). The manager on duty, Joe, was not honoring the fundraiser. A large group of volunteers and Board members were dining in the restaurant. The service was less than horrible, the waitress was rude and after waiting over an hour for our orders, they still didn't get it right. My family ordered a large pizza and wings. We never did get our wings. Our Board President never received her order, and after being told several times that they either couldn't find her order or that it was never started, she gave up and asked for a refund. We sat and watched almost every customer who came in for take out have to come back because their order was wrong. Several left empty handed because they waited too long for their order. The delivery drivers were constantly coming in and yelling that their delivery order was incorrect. It was a joke! Joe, the manager, never came out to speak with us, even after we specifically asked to see him. He was verbally abusive to the employees working last night, so much so that our waitress called her father, and Daddy came down to the store to "speak" with Joe. There was a huge scene and Daddy ended up storming into the kitchen after Joe. The police were called... We ended up refusing to pay for our cold and incomplete orders. A lot of good having a fundraiser with them did us... As a member of the MVHS organization that arranged this fundraiser, I'm embarrassed to even have our name associated with it. This was a huge mistake. Lesson learned, stay away from these...
Read moreObviously not a place I'd take anyone I'd like to impress. But, certainly a good neighborhood place to run out to with the kiddos. While I agree the service could use some work, and the food is...well...fast food...I will say, that's what I was expecting. To put it in perspective, during my visit, it basically appeared to be staffed and run by 3 young people, maybe teenagers. I was thrilled to see a local business hiring young people and young people out working (on a Saturday afternoon no less). I imagine this job, if not their first job, is certainly one of their first jobs. Do they understand what it takes to provide 'world class service'? Probably not, but thank goodness for first time jobs where these things are supposed to be learned. I think if any constructive criticism is to be made, its that a little 'manager/owner influence' may not be out of order! Personally, I was glad to have my young kids see young adults out in the work force. I'm not saying we shouldn't have expectations, or that our local businesses shouldn't provide us with good product and service. But I'm one of those old fashioned people that believe it takes a village to raise a child. So, those young people that served my family today weren't 'stellar', but they were very polite, and though I don't know them, they are in my village - so I hope I showed a little patience. Now, the owner or manager? Well, there are plenty of reviews here that might indicate that some attention needs to be given. I hope they are mindful enough of our...
