Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Meridian

I went in to get a cake pop for my 2 year old granddaughter, who was having meltdown in the car. Remembering that she loves cake pops, I went to the Starbucks, inside of the Albertsons on Ten Mile/Cherry Lane. When I walked up to the counter, the staff behind counter said that the person ahead of me was the last person of the day, that they were closing after them. My frustration came from the fact that I had walked up right behind the people ahead of me and the register was still open, she was just starting to take their order. Also, that all I wanted was a cake pop, which are already made, it wasn't like she had to make a beverage or anything time consuming. I absolutely adore all the ladies and gents that work at the Cherry & Tenmile Albertsons location. I have never met such a great group of barista's. I would give them 10 stars. Unfortunately for them they are now going on 12 days without an espresso machine. I feel absolutely horrified for them. I don't know how they have dealt with the backlash from customers over this. They continue, against all odds, to be poised, upbeat and helpful with anything they do have the capabilities of serving. I've always loved Starbucks,my last two experiences were'nt so great. Their fraps were the best ever, they've either had budget cuts or something,my frap large " venti" had maybe one shoot of coffee if that,it's always rush rush in Starbucks,understandable,got people to help coffee to make ,but I was the only one in line ,no one ahead of me .it's hard to say this about a place that has always been my favorite,the price's are to high for what you get and they've cut corners so much the product is suffering.come on Starbucks...
