My mom and I wanted to try the new banana pudding shake from Chick-Fil-a, only to realize it was a Sunday and that establishment was closed. We were upset, but then remembered a place we always used to go when I was a student at Missouri State. This is how we found ourselves driving to Andy’s on a quest for some quality ice cream. We pulled up to the building and were the only ones there. Can I just say… why are prices outrageous? There was basically nothing under $6.50 on the entire menu. The small concrete was $6.50, which is what my mom and I got. She tried the new key lime pie concrete and I got a peanut butter and banana concrete. Our ice creams were delicious and creamy, but still. Maybe that’s why no one was there; people can’t justify spending upwards of $10 for ice cream in this economy. The girl at the window couldn’t be bothered to at least look like she wanted to be there, let alone talk to us. She had a slight attitude, as if us giving her something to do at her job was the biggest inconvenience of her day. I can kind of relate though; I know what it’s like working in the service industry. Still, some semblance of courtesy would’ve been appreciated. Ice cream was immaculate, but service wasn’t.

Absolutely delicious, fast ordering, seating available on the side of the building, excellent drive-thru, I don't know if they intended this or not but by the end of the day the seating on the side of the building is in the shade and it's cool out there even on a hot day. I ordered the Bootdaddy Concrete, it was delicious, it melts fast though because there's hot fudge in there so if you order this make sure you live close or plan to stay and eat it right then and there in your car or sitting down on their benches.

This place has both ups and downs. 1. The ice cream s VERY, VERY OVERPRICED. I have to pay $5.49 for just one scoop of chocolate ice cream in one small cup. 2. The ice cream is not original. It tastes just like the ice cream that I can get from a grocery store like Fry's or something. 3. There is little to no seating and no tables either. 4. The place is very, very dirty. I have always posted good review, but this? This is the first one star review for me. DO 𝙉𝙊𝙏 COME HERE!!!

Andy’s Frozen Custard is a frozen dessert experience like no other. From the very first bite, it's clear that Andy’s is in a league of its own. The custard is rich, creamy, and decadently smooth, offering a luxurious texture that melts perfectly in your mouth. Unlike other frozen treats, Andy’s custard is made fresh every hour, ensuring that each scoop is as delightful as the last.

What truly sets Andy’s apart is the incredible depth of flavor in their offerings. Whether you opt for a classic vanilla or chocolate custard, or one of their many creative concoctions, you’re in for a treat that’s bursting with taste. The concretes and sundaes are particularly noteworthy, loaded with premium toppings like roasted pecans, fresh fruits, and homemade brownies, making every spoonful an adventure.

The atmosphere at Andy’s Frozen Custard is also worth mentioning. It’s a place where you instantly feel welcome, with a friendly and efficient staff who are always ready to make your dessert just the way you like it. The retro vibe of the shop, complete with neon signs and a classic car-hop feel, adds to the overall charm, making each visit a fun, nostalgic trip.

If you’re a dessert lover, Andy’s Frozen Custard is an absolute must-visit. It’s not just about getting a sweet treat; it’s about indulging in a superior frozen custard that’s crafted with care and served with a smile. Every visit to Andy’s is a reminder that some things are worth indulging in, and this is one indulgence you’ll keep...

Had Andy's for the first time this past week. I had never heard of it or seen one before. Very tasty. Everybody love it. I was most impressed at the speed with which they prepared our four items at the drive-through. Seriously... I'm thinking about all those times someone orders a shake or whatever, and it seems like a burger could be cooked faster. I was terrified at the prospect of being 6th in line at the drivethrough... let's see... 6 cars... 3-4 minutes each... WTF????!! WE SHOULD HAVE PARKED! WRONG! We waited less than 15 minutes... probably more like 10. I chastised myself for my unfounded inner rage.

I'm a child of the 70s, but something about it felt like what my brain pictures as a 1950s ice cream stand.

Those picky little bastid teenagers of mine issued the highest praise on record... "It's not bad." Their cups were empty in short order, so I know what's truly in their bitter little hearts...

My only issue with it was the price... pretty spendy for what you get, but even the smalls are more calories than one should consume. As much as it offends the cheapskate at the core of my being, I'll be...
