Third experience coming in here last night. I would really like to love this place as the atmosphere is great. However, the lack of prompt service is a huge issue. The first time we came with a large group so I gave them some grace. The second was improved with a smaller group but no one checked to make sure our food was correct. I ordered the Asian salad which I would avoid like the plague. The lettuce was wilted, soaked in dressing and the were apparently out of several of the listed ingredients . The manager did comp the meal so I was open to try one more time. Last night was the final straw. My SIL made reservations at 715 for our large group the day before. Yet while on a no wait situation they didn't have a table ready until 720 and the could only stick us outside in the cold evening because that was what was available. They crowded us around a few tables until another table opened up. For our reservations of 715 they finally took our order at 805 after we inquired with another server. The manager comped a couple baskets of chips and salsa he ordered for our table of 12. They had double sat our poor server with 2 large groups. Our food for our little ones was out at 830 and overcooked. I had to leave for work which they did finally box up my order which was not correct so I could eat it later cold. They rest of my party's orders trickled out so we were not eating at the same time. My mother's Pesto sandwich had a minimal chicken. They need some huge...

My wife and I went here to try their Reuben sandwich that was recommended as being one of the best by others. No one was at the host/hostess stand to greet us, and there were 2 different signs, one read 'please wait to be seated' and the other read to 'please seat yourself'. A couple sitting in the lobby said they were waiting on the rest of their party to arrive, so my wife and I went ahead and sat ourselves. Another couple had then arrived AFTER my wife and I, seated themselves and that couple was then greeted by a server within 1 minute. The remainder of the other party of 7 had then arrived, sat themselves and 2 servers began assisting the party of 7 and taking their order. There appeared to be 3 servers who at various different times made eye contact with us, each of them more than once, over a 5-to-10-minute period. However, much to our extreme disappointment, no one ever came over to greet us. There were only about a dozen other customers in the restaurant when my wife and I arrived, and the servers even visited the 2 tables on either side of us without acknowledging us. My wife and I then got up, left the establishment, and the servers simply watched us leave without attempting to intervene. This shows an extremely serious flaw in the management and hospitality of Barrio Brewing Co. My wife and I won't be going back and recommend everyone avoid Barrio Brewing Co. and go elsewhere for anyone who wants to receive service and...

We have be to Barrio Brewing several times and we love it. Cool location next to the private terminal and runway areas. Great view to the east of the Superstion Mts but the action of the airport steals the sceen--especially on busy travel days like Friday and Saturdays. Always plenty of parking. Service is almost always awesome, but we did have one time when things were a little "off". But if I'm being honest, the one time service here was not up to their usual standards--it was still better than the best service at most of the places we go. Beers and drinks are fantastic! Love all the beers but the Barrio Blonde, Rae's Ruby Red and Rojo are my favorites. When in doubt, take a sampler flight and try several. On the cocktail side of thiings, I like their Paloma and Barrio Mule. The food is fantastic and never disapoints. Portions are always on the large side. Our two main favorites are the Fish & Chips and the Reuben. Our favorite appetizer is the spinach & artichoke dip. The wings are crispy & tasty and the burgers are juicy and huge. All in all, Barrio Brewing has become the place that is always in the "where do you want to go eat?"...

A really great brewery in an awesome location! It's definitely a fun spot for the whole family. Ask for a window seat to watch the planes land and take off all throughout your meal; pretty cool! Overall, I was impressed with Barrio! Inside has plenty of space, seats, and TVs no matter where you're sitting. Would be a fun spot to catch a game! Our service was excellent during our whole meal - sat in Lou's section, and he treated us so well! The beer was excellent! They have a pretty large selection and variety of their own brews. I recommend going with a flight to try a variety of them! Our food was pretty good as well. The wings were large and tasted great. Also tried the Southwest Chicken Panini, and it was good. Their kids meals were a great size compared to other places around. If you're looking for a new brewery to check out, you should absolutely add Barrio to your list! We will definitely be back!

TLDR: Good food and beer. Fun to see airplanes takeoff and land. Would come again. We were in need of food on Black Friday and this place wasn’t terribly busy. Maybe because of the location. Despite being right on the runway of Gateway airport, it wasn’t loud; even on the patio. Our party started with the Bavarian Beer Sponges (pretzels). We didn’t find the mustard to be nuclear, but it was good. We found it to be better than the beer cheese. For our meals, we had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, the Chicken Tenders, and the Baja Fish Tacos. The opinion around the table was that the Tenders and the chicken sandwich were good, and the tacos were great. I personally enjoyed the Santa Fe Jefeveizen. We would come again. Despite the fact that we were alone on the patio, we never wanted for service.

Terrible management and terrible experience. We had a party of 10. They pretty much said we cannot sit you. So we split into two parties, at first they said that was not possible. After speaking with the manager they understood that we wanted two separate parties. They sat one party and told the other there would be an hour wait. This was while visibly there was 8 tables open. The waitress returns after 15 minutes and asks if high tops would be ok.. seeing two that could seat 8 right next to each other they say it will be another 15 minutes to clean the table off.. you ask why not leave, cause you just flew in and we’re hoping to get a bite to eat from the humble Tucson company you once supported. If you have more than 4 people, save yourself a trip.
