I went in for a drink before work , got there and there were a few cars in line. Things went quick until the suv with a bunch of dogs pulled up to the window. Staff seemed to know her and took a very long time chit chatting. The line continued to grow and the girl with the tablet took no one else’s orders. Train of cars already exceeding the length of the drive thru and still waiting on her. Someone from inside must have asked her to start orders because she replied with give me a second. She got to my car & I let her know that we are trying to get drinks & get to work , this must have upset her because she got quiet , asked what I wanted & that was it. No thank you for the included tip, no have a nice day nothing just walked away . Few seconds later another gentleman came out to help clean up her line. He approached my car, very friendly guy . I let him know what happened & how she responded to the feedback and he of course apologized & went back up to the window where the suv was still parked, got my drink for me & was very apologetic. He demonstrated exceptional service.
I love that you guys are a very friendly company & engage with your customers. But there should also be some consideration for your waiting customers time as well. That early in the morning people are trying to get their day started & get to work, school etc. will I come back to this location? Yes. But just thought this feedback may help...
Read moreThis is by far my favorite location to go to I’d rather come here than the newer one that’s about a quarter mile away or less. I always have a pleasant experience here and usually recognize some of the regular staff members there. However, I wasn’t as pleased today after work than I usually am. I ordered a drink for me and my boyfriend and he doesn’t usually go to Dutch so he doesn’t know what to get so I ordered for him and I asked a staff member once I got to the window if they can change one of the drinks because I ended up getting something he didn’t like and the girl (who I’ve never seen before I’m guessing is new) she was rude and made an upset face when I asked her. I’m usually used to the employees being always cheerful and wondering what we’re up too and always sparking up a conversation while they wait for the barista to finish making the drink. Which I get it when it’s late afternoon and there’s a rush sometimes you don’t always want to deal with difficulties in customers. She insisted on keeping the order the way it originally was and I didn’t want to pay for a drink that my bf didn’t really want. Usually the employees ask if you like the drink when trying something new and if there’s something wrong they always have no problems at all with...
Read moreAlways a hella wait time! I am typically a Starbucks girl, but I did have a gift card to use at Dutch. This is definitely a weekend spot for me because it's not typically a fast trip. The Starbucks drive thru across the street can be just as backed up as Dutch, and you'll still get out of Starbucks in half the time as Dutch. For example, this past Sunday afternoon, I was in the drive thru for probably 15 min, and there were only 4 or 5 cars ahead of me.
I gave this place 2 stars because of the wait time and prices. Nearly $8 for something I could get at Starbucks for under $6 is madness. Like I said, I had a giftcard, or else, I would have just gone to my normal Starbucks spot across the road. Perhaps if Dutch offered a mobile ordering system I'd be more inclined to stop in, but otherwise, it's a pass from me.
Lastly, I will say that their employees are friendly and upbeat but way too distracted. When I was at the window, I chatted for a min with the guy taking drive thru payments, and the baristas were lining up drinks for the people behind me and hadn't even started my drink! Way too much disorganization...
