Where do I begin? This McDonald’s is less a restaurant and more a portal to a greasy, ketchup-smeared version of hell. I walked in at 6 PM on a Tuesday, but judging by the chaos, you’d think the zombie apocalypse had just hit the drive-thru.
First off, the line. Fifteen people deep, one register open, and the employee looked like she had been held hostage since 2004. When I finally ordered—a simple Big Mac meal—I was told they were out of buns. A burger place. Out of buns. The employee shrugged and said, “We’re substituting with pancakes.”
It gets worse.
I sat down at a table that was sticky enough to trap flies. Literally. There were two dead ones doing laps in a dried puddle of orange Hi-C. My “meal” arrived 28 minutes later—cold fries, a pancake-wrapped meat disc, and a Diet Coke that tasted like it had been filtered through a gym sock. No straw, of course. When I asked for one, the manager (who was loudly arguing with another customer about the definition of "nugget") tossed it at me like I was a seagull.
Bathroom? Don’t bother. The stall door was missing, the sink was broken, and something in the urinal was moving. I have not slept since.
To top it all off, a rogue Ronald McDonald statue in the corner had been vandalized to look like it was crying blood. Poetic, honestly, because I almost did too.
Avoid this place unless you’ve completely given up on joy, dignity, and gastrointestinal stability. I would rather eat gravel behind a gas station than...
Read moreThis new McDonald’s location has some serious customer service issues. My husband went to get breakfast and tried to use a 20% coupon from the app, only to be told by an employee that it’s only for lunch. Nowhere on the coupon does it say it’s limited to lunch (photo attached for reference).
When he decided to use his points for a coffee instead, he asked to speak with the manager. Her response? “There’s nothing I can do about it, but I’ll let her know she was wrong.” No accountability or attempt to resolve the situation. Frustrated, my husband asked for his money back. The manager then demanded the coffee back, even though it was paid for with points!
The total for the order was $32.77, but the refund receipt only showed $22.71. When my husband pointed out the discrepancy, the employee eventually brought out $10 in cash after my husband had to pull out his receipt and explain (still 6 cent short) smh. Also they were gone with the card out of sight for a long time.
The service only improved when my husband mentioned calling corporate, but by then, the damage was done. A new location like this should be focused on impressing customers, not frustrating them. Unfortunately, it’s just as disappointing as the other McDonald’s nearby. Corporate needs to address this before more customers walk away unhappy.
Corporate was called and this is a franchise location so we will see...
Read moreThis was, hands down, one of the worst fast food experiences of my life. I walked into this McDonald’s hoping for a simple, decent meal — instead, I got a crash course in how not to run a restaurant.
The customer service was absolutely atrocious. The staff looked like they couldn’t care less that I was even there. No greeting, no eye contact — just blank stares and an attitude that screamed "Why are you bothering me?" I stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, and when they finally did, it was with a level of rudeness I wouldn’t expect at a DMV, let alone a place that supposedly thrives on “service with a smile.”
And then came the food… if you can even call it that. My burger looked like it had been trampled in the parking lot. The bun was hard, the patty was dry and borderline cold, and everything was sloppily thrown together like someone made it blindfolded. The fries? Limp, stale, and somehow managed to be both soggy and cold — a real culinary achievement.
This location is a disaster. If you're craving disappointment, indifference, and borderline inedible food, then by all means, pull up. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and eat literally...
