My family and i go to this restaurant at least twice a month because of the great authentic mexican food and the great price. however last two sundays we were there in May 2016 the service was terrible and slow. First we arrived, were seated, my order was taken, 10 minutes later i got up to ask the bartender (Because my waitress disappeared) if we could please have some chips and salsa they never gave us chips and salsa as a welcome!!!! When our food finally arrive it was very late. After our food got to our table the waitress never came back to check on us (if the food is ok? Or if we needed anything else?) minutes went by after we ate. i had to get hostess because i didntseen the waitress since she brought our food over. We wanted to order dessert so when the waitress arrived to the table instead of asking the usual; would you like to order dessert? Instead she brought us our receipt!!!!! I felt like she was kicking us out of this restaurant so terrible the service i told my husband we will not return and we will give our business to other restaurants in the area with better service!
This experience was shocking to me because we go to mi mexico lindo 2 or 3 times a month always on a sunday! Management should check on the staff they...
Read moreUndeniably one of my new favorite places. The atmosphere is dimly-lit. However, the food will amaze your senses. When you are given the basket of chips, they are very plain, without sodium, but when you dip it into their homemade salsa, it will bring you into a new world. It is that good. As for the entrees, The burrito is a unique style, to say the least. Because of that, I was surprised that my chicken burrito was very good! The burrito had melty cheese on the outside, and a gravy-like cream paired with chicken. Service is outstanding, no major issues. However, I would like to point out that the chicken was a little dry. Ground beef sounds like a moister option. However, the chicken is still fabulous. Mi Mexico Lindo gets 10/10 from me! By the way, the place is located in a town with other Spanish/Mexican places, so expect to find other delicacies in this district. :)
Update 1: the harbanero salsa is HOT. Update 2: I just discovered their fajitas. Amazing. The beef is simmered in a soupy sort of sauce, which is delightfully paired with savory bell peppers. It is accompanied with some corn tortillas. All of this is at a filling portion and at a...
Read moreI been coming here since 2006 and it definitely has a soft spot in my heart. With that being said I have noticed that the food portions have decreased significantly. I always used to get the mix fajita combo and it was generous portions of meat for the price. Now it's more expensive and you have to fish for the meat under so much peppers and onion. The last time inwas there I literally counted four small strips of steak and may be 6 small pieces of chicken.... It's a shame because the service and drinks are amazing they also have the best salsa around. I noticed it's not just the fajitas that has decreased in portions my other half gets the ceviche and last time it was decreased portions and more expensive. I hope that Mexico Lindo can return to how they used to be because it was literally my favorite Mexican restaurant around. Also the fajitas should be sizzling when they come to your table and I noticed that doesn't happen anymore it's usually alway warm..not sizzling...☹
Update: I got a steak burrito and it was really good! Margaritas ate always good here but yhe fajitas are still 👎 and they used to be...
