Captain Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Miami Gardens

I have visited this location a few times, and to be honest, it's not the best food ,but it's doable when you want 6 This particular day I went here and my mom had advised me not to because their food isn't fresh, we're her exact words. I told her I'll ask for fresh food and thar I had to ask about what I did when I ordered with the young lady who took my order. So, to my surprise, when I got to the window, I paid for the food, which was chicken wings, fries, and corn nuggets, the food was ready. I said to myself, "Wow that was fast because usually you would wait for fresh food." The young lady handed me the bag, and I sat it in on lap and immediately noticed that the food didn't feel hot. I then opened the bag and felt one of the wings and noticed was dark, which meant the chicken wasn't fresh, nor was it hot. I waved the lady down and asked for a refund. The guy who was there with her was now there handing Mr my money. I asked him why it was that if a customer asked for fresh food, why was it not. He said all orders are cooked fresh. The customers who frequent this place are black and we all know that most of this stores are not owned by our pe, who then try to treat us less them stupid, because I'm fully aware of what food looks like when it's freshly made. Please understand they place this type of store and restaurant's in our community's for a reason. They'll never feed their people this type of food but want us to accept this foolishness. So the food is actually good here. For the longest I kept confusing it for Hooks and haven't heard that many pleasant things about it. However someone told me this place was good so I decided to try it.

First and foremost if you've been to Snappers or Lemon Peppers, you've basically been here too. It's the same type of food with the same type of seasoning. What I wish once of them would do is offer crinkle fries instead of these straight, grease soaking fries that they like to serve. I promise I'll be your best customer. It's why I love House of Crab so much.

In addition, there conch salad is delicious. Better than my favorite Snapper's location conch salad. Surprisingly the drive thru attendant was very nice and respectful. With these places it can really be a hit and miss situation sometimes.

When I initially went there I couldn't stop raving about the place. Customer service remains outstanding however my last visit I was very disappointed the conch and chicken I ordered this time the portion size was very small at least smaller than before and unfortunately the counch was not fried long enough all the batter fell off.
