The Talon Tavern — Restaurant in Miami Township

I got a lot of recommendations for Talon Taven for their pizza and they have a $6/pax pizza buffet on Tuesdays. Sufficient parking, tables and seating set out to comply with CoViD-19 requirements, masks required when not seated. Sue, the owner, was very friendly and took good care of us as we sat at a table abutting the bar.

The crust was firm but foldable, and was the best part of the pizza. Their Buffalo Chicken pizza had very little chicken and the cheese overwhelmed the flavor of the other ingredients, unfortunately, although my son thought it was wonderful. The Tuscan was tasty and we both liked it quite well. The Veggie Supreme was tasty, with a tangy and salty sauce, although I would've preferred something other than banana peppers because they dominated the flavor too much. The Steak Hoagie was a disappointment as they use well-spiced Italian (pig) sausage instead of beef which, when combined with the mushroom sauce and the pickle slices made for an odd combination (but better with the pickles than without); I'd have preferred a sausage pizza over that. Their Cherry dessert pizza was nothing special but I'm not a dessert pizza lover. All in all, although the crust was really nice, it was more a miss than a hit for us.

However, if you like thin, flexible crust, amble toppings and a salty sauce, you may want to go here - the pizza is possibly the most popular with locals. Also, the service is...

Update: This is a fun place, good music and affordable drinks. Just Uber in and home. Cops all over the place. Remember don't drink and drive. A 20.00 dollars under beats a $10,000 DUI Defense.

This is a nice Tavern in the Milford, Ohio area. Very friendly staff and owner. Plenty of TV s for watching your favorite sporting event. Big plus later in the night they have bands or a little DJ action playing some good tunes. They do have a pool table. Not crazy about seeing children in the place. In my opinion some parents need to go home with small children after 5 p.m. if not sooner. I am old school I don't like seeing children in a bar period it just looks bad.

A great place to be after a Milford sporting event. Go Eagles!! Plus lately they had add a weekend band on a Friday or Saturday night.

Been twice - first time to watch game w group of friends. Second was last night to support a cause that is important to me. Both times the ladies working the bar was rude to me and my friends. Also to a complete stranger I was standing next to. Waited to order a drink 15 min to only be looked at and ignored and when I finally was able To order it seemed like such a burden .
