New York Pizza — Restaurant in Miami

46 YEARS OLD AND HAVE NEVER HAD WORSE FOOD OR SERVICE…. MY ORDER TOTALED FROM THEIR MENU 47.00 … ASKED FOR MY TOTAL AT THE END OF MY ORDER WAS TOLD SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK WITH TOTAL… NO ONE EVER CALLED SO I CALLED BACK … WAS TOLD AGAIN SOMONE WOULD CALL ME BACK… NEVER DID … CALLED A THIRD TIME LADY SAYS 98.98 I SAID FOR WHAT THAYS NOT WHAT YOUR MENU SAYS SHE SAYS O THE MENU PRICES HAVE CHANGED… AFTER WAITING FOR 2 HOURS I TOLD HER IF THEY CHANGED THEN THEY COULD KEEP IT… SHE THEN SAYS WELL WAIT A MINUTE THE DRIVER WILL TELL YOU NEW TOTAL AND I ONLY TAKE CASH… MY NEW TOTAL WAS 74.00 . SO THEY CHARGE A DELIVERY FEE THAT IS NOT ON THEIR MENU SO THEU CAN CHARGE YOU WHATEVER THEY WANT …ANOTHER LADY AT THE HOTEL SAID THEY DOUBLED HER ORDER AS WELL WHEN IT GOT HERE… THIS PLACE IS A SCAM … NOT ONLY DID MY ALFREDO HAVE BLACK ROTTEN CHICKEN WITH SPAGHETTI NOODLES NOT ALFREDO NOODLES… BUT OUR 2 LITERS OF SODA WAS SERVED WARM AND OUR FOOD COLD… HOWEVER THEY ALSO TOLD THE OTHER GUESTS HERE THEY ONLY TAKE CASH.. SOMETHING IS FISHY WITH THIS PLACE…. MORE THEN SURE IRS NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS PLACE AND THEIR “ONLY CASH HANDLING” POLICY… I AM A RESTAURANT MANAGER AND ITS NOT EASY FOR ME TO MAKE A COMPLAINT ON A RESTAURANT … HOWEVER THIS PLACE IS A SCAM I WILL BE CONTACTING THE CITY AND THE IRS … AS WELL AS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT… PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF TIME MONEY AND A HEADACHE … WHEN U CALL BACK TO ASK FOR A REFUND THEY JUST HANG UP ON YOU… OR SIMPLY WONT ANSWER …. THEY EITHER WONT TAKE YOUR CARD BECAUSE THEY KNOW YOU CAN DISPUTE THE CHARGES AND YOU WILL FOOD IS DISGUSTING… AND NOT AT ALL WHAT WE ORDERED OR THEY ARE HIDING THIER INCOME...

Where do I start? We ordered 12 wings, sauce on the side. And fries. They told us they would take an hour or more. Which is understandable because it is definitely flooding outside. We had no way to get it ourselves as we are traveling from out of state. The flyer for the restaurant was stuck under our hotel room door, so unfortunately, we did not read Google reviews first. The food took much longer than a little over an hour. When I called to check on the food, the person who answered the phone mocked me at the end of the phone call. The food arrived and the gentleman delivering it was very nice. From what I saw the food should Around $20 plus delivery fee and it came out to 30 and we added a tip so it seemed more expensive than what it was supposed to be. We opened the food and the chicken wings looked OK. Instead of them having buffalo sauce on the side, it was little little packets of hot sauce. And they gave us one little packet of ranch that you would get for a salad. The fries were soggy, kind of to be expected. But the wings, as we got further into them seemed very mushy and misshapen, and not like wings at all. They still had the little feather pieces on them and were shaped like nothing I’ve seen before. We definitely did not finish eating it as we were grossed out. This will be the last time we order from New York...

Spent $80 on the worst pizza I think I’ve ever had (I’m 41…I’ve had plenty of pizza in my time). They delivered it and I wished I looked at the food before I gave her the money because I would’ve made her take it all back. I had toppings on half my pizza because all the toppings had slid to one side. Which means half of the pizza had no cheese neither. Please DO NOT BUY the cheese bread. It looked like they took hot dog buns and topped them with mozzarella and popped them in the microwave. They didn’t even bother to put butter on the bread at all. At least toast the hot dog buns. They gave me a small Caesar salad for $11. I assumed this price was for a large since the small one was listed for about $8. Maybe it’s medium. The chicken wasn’t tossed in the sauce well. Looked like they just poured it on the top and didn’t bother to heat the sauce up. In other words, I’m out of town thinking I was about to feed my family and we ended up forcing ourselves to eat it.
