Poorly maintained. City of Miami needs to work on this place. Many dead animals or animal parts and lots of glass and voo doo things laying around. Cakes, food, dolls with needles, broken glass saints, broken voodoo candles, today I caught a man dumping a voodoo bag and I asked him to pick it up and put it in the garbage. City Park employee became mad when he saw me taking pictures while hes parked in his little car... Then he rushes at me with the cart and started insulting me. Telling I am no one there, then he peeled out and hauled ass. That only made me want to stay, I caught a man dumping next to a tree some voo doo bag. I told him I saw him and I am recording. To pls pick up the bag and put it in the trash and he did. 3 people from City of Miami on site and me, the one who is nothing... Caught this. Be careful here people. I tell ya. Ive seen all sorts of animals... Dont let your kids or animals get near them. They stink and contaminate the...

Beautiful Park with a Great Atmosphere

I had a fantastic time at this park! The scenery was beautiful, with well-maintained trails, plenty of green space, and peaceful spots to relax. Whether you’re looking to go for a walk, have a picnic, or just enjoy nature, this park has something for everyone.

The atmosphere was calm and inviting, with a good mix of open areas and shaded spots under the trees. There were also plenty of benches and picnic tables, making it a great place to sit and take in the surroundings.

Everything was clean and well-kept, from the walking paths to the playground areas. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. Definitely a great spot to visit, whether you're alone or with family...

utterly disappointed and frustrated with the parking situation at this otherwise amazing park. It is inconceivable that the city has not provided adequate parking facilities for such a popular and well-loved location. The decision to ticket vehicles instead of creating viable parking solutions not only inconveniences visitors but feels almost punitive. This oversight is a significant deterrent to what could be a fantastic recreational experience. It’s high time the city reevaluates its priorities and addresses this glaring issue. Visitors and residents...

Nice shaded park! We enjoyed this park with our 3 year old. 2 play structures with different types of climbing bars, slides, swings, musical play, see-saw, merry go round and lots of room to run around. Parking lot had about 10 spots of free parking. Ducks and rooster were running around. Picnic tables and benches by the water to view the passing boats. I didn’t see bathrooms but there were a couple porta potties in the parking lot. Plenty of trash cans. Will definitely visit again.

This park brings back lots of childhood NOSTALGIA and I just adore everything about it!!! The city has done a wonderful job remodeling it to make it kid friendly which my son enjoys very much!!! There is also lots of beautiful roosters around which I love so much because it reminds me of my dad(R.I.P.) There are also the cutest 🦝 family and sometimes I do bring them a few snacks so they can enjoy even though it's not recommended.

Great park with open space, a great playground, picnic benches, grills, and history. The nature reserve/gardens are locked up currently but just outside it are always cats, chickens and ducks. The park is right up against the Miami river. You can watch the bridge rise to allow ships through. I'd say this is a great place for kids and picnics, though beware some sections stay flooded after rains. Love it, it's a gem.
