Potomac Pizza — Restaurant in Middle River

The pizza here is ok…a bit soggy though, so nothing to write home about.

However, the real issue was the substandard service. Despite my clarity in placing my order, I had to repeat it 3x and the lack of attentiveness from the staff was surprising, especially since the restaurant was not busy at the time. To further illustrate this point, a couple at the bar waited for over 15 minutes without any acknowledgment and eventually left. I would have, too!

But then, the owner attempted to rectify the situation by ordering an employee to chase after the couple to see if they still wanted something, but obviously it was too late. It was just really awkward to witness because the employee's confusion and bewilderment were apparent because the owner/manager kept telling the employee to go run outside...this just added to the sense of disorganization and inefficiency in this establishment.

Overall, I would not recommend dining in at this restaurant due to the substandard service and the underwhelming quality of the pizza. I hope that the management steps up and takes the necessary steps to improve their service and quality of their food, as there is potential for this establishment with the right improvements. I went in to Potomac pizza middle river and was having drinks at the bar with friends and my brother when a lady with demanding what me and my brother had to drink and who was are bartender I told her very polite we had a bartender and she was taking care of us she got louder and stated I'm the owners wife and manager and its not wrong up at all. I need to know our bartender Meghan was very professional polite and handled the situation very professionally she told the lady Susan she was taking care of them and another gentleman bought us a round and she will make sure everything gets wrong up . Susan got mad and yelled and was very unprofessional and disrespectful for that I would recommend that management doesn't allow her to be around customers or manger. . Another girl anesia was there and I never seen her checking on any of her tables she was goofing off and acting completely inappropriate as an employee putting her head in people and pretending to be a cat.. Skylar also waited on us very polite fast service really made us felt welcome and important.meghan mad us awesome drinks kept checking on us . Anesia and Susan I wouldn't recommend as servers or bartenders if they wait on you request another server...

If I could give their pizza 10 stars I would!! I've lived in the area for 20+ years, and we finally have a good pizza place! I've personally ordered 2 times so far, my husband has been in there other times, so he's the one that told me about it! The first time I ordered from Potomac I got my family pizza, and I got the cheese ravioli and salad. Yum, is all I can say, my husband even took it from me and finished it off, eventhough I didn't have any meat in it! The salad was just your basic salad, but, the ingredients like the tomato were so good, they tasted like it just came from the garden, even the dressing just your basic Italian was really good! Everyone complaining about the prices, good ingredients aren't cheap, especially in today's economy. So if your looking for value stick to Domino's, Papa John's, or Little Ceasars, where you get cheap, mediocrety at best!! You get what you pay for, as long as it taste as good as it does, I have no problem...
