Miggy's Deli — Restaurant in Middle Smithfield Township

Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious, except for the fact that they will put mayo on it even when you request no Mayo and select a different topping. Two times they did this to me and the first time I had to drive all the way back to the deli because they offered to remake it after apologizing over the phone for adding mayo when I specified no mayo.... which was nice of them but I was at work and I had to go back and forth for them to correct it. Still inconvenient and kept me at work later because I had to drive back and forth four times. They apologized, remade the sandwich and all was good. Innocent mistake. Just ordered from them through DoorDash tonight and I selected a turkey and cheese sandwich again with oil and vinegar no mayo low and behold it comes with mayo again! When I called to ask about it and see if they would send me a new sandwich as I was unable to go pick it up again myself.... she said they just assume to put mayonnaise on it If you don't specify no mayonnaise. Nowhere on the menu in person or online does it say sandwiches come with mayo. They could not resend another sandwich and now I have no dinner! I usually don't leave bad reviews but twice in a row this is very frustrating and very inconveniencing. Great sandwiches, just make sure if you don't want mayo you tell them even though it does not say sandwiches come with mayo ANYWHERE. In my opinion, what a terrible practice to just assume that someone wants a topping that is not advertised and they did not request. The sandwich is now garbage unfortunately and I will have to order elsewhere and waste more...

Local and regular, always went to this corner store even before the new owners but now I'm finding it uncomfortable to go in to just get a drink. Always got snacks and food which no doubt is well stocked and service is usually good, however when you're a regular , certain people get a little too comfortable with asking about personal life/ relationships. I declined a strange offer that the cashier asked and I was met with a series of attacks on my personal life and work which is no one's business. I love this store and really appreciate the service from the other employees but I would recommend to maintain it as just that, and please don't make customers uncomfortable especially regulars and locals. TO THE OWNER- DON’T YOU EVER MENTION MY SON AGAIN. Visited today, If I could give them zero stars, I would, they put two pieces of bacon on a regular breakfast sandwich. Two pieces of bacon is not even enough for a 3-year-old. I’m not paying over five dollars for that when you can get double the amount of food at Wawa/dunkin or even starbucks - also the coffee is GROSS. When I asked about my sandwich being so lackluster, the two men who work there just yelled at me and I guess took it personal but really I just wanted the sandwich I was used to from before.
