Buddy’s isn’t just a place to grab a bite—it’s an experience that’s full of heart, warmth, and passion. As a family-owned restaurant, it’s clear that Buddy’s is driven by more than just serving food—it’s a true labor of love. From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect: the food, the service, the atmosphere.
Just as my 3-year-old and I approached the Lakeville exit on the highway, she told me she was hungry. A quick Google search led us to Buddy’s, just seven minutes off the highway. The glowing reviews and photos were promising, so we decided to go there—and I’m so glad we did.
From the start, we were greeted by the friendliest staff. Lexi, who took care of us, was wonderful. She was kind to me and my toddler, who immediately felt comfortable and connected with her. At one point, my daughter excitedly told me she was going over to talk to “the lady,” which touched my heart. There was also a charming fish tank that completely captivated her, and to my surprise, another family came in with a toddler of the same age who also fell in love with the tank. The two of them ended up becoming fast friends, which was such a sweet, unexpected moment.
We ordered the cheese pizza and French fries (because, toddler life.), and I have to say—this was hands down the best cheese pizza I've had in ages. And trust me, we’re Town Spa pizza enthusiasts! I also had the OG Mai Tai, which was fantastic,
We will definitely be going back to Buddy's any time we need a bite to eat after the barn days. 1000/10 recommend.

Read moreWent for lunch with a friend & waited 40 minutes for our salad & buffalo tenders, we were the only ones there. When we finally saw our “waitress” we asked her where our food was she said she check on it. After waiting another 5 minutes, I went to the bar, where she was just standing. She said they made a mistake & lost the ticket, did she not wonder where our food was, no apology. I said “I’m on my lunch.” Her response, “she’ll pack it to go.” I said bring it with containers & the bill. When it came out, the tenders were on top of the salad instead of 2 separate dishes. After waiting 45 minutes for our food & then getting it wrong. We told the waitress this is wrong & we didn’t want it, just give us the bill for the dronks. She said she would have to talk to the manager,. You would think they would comp the meal, nope. Manager never came over, she took the food away & gave us a bill for the drinks, still no apology & no comping the drinks. I will never go back, the waitress needs to be fired, she obviously knows nothing about customer service. If I could give a negative star I would. Thanks for an awful experience...
Read moreBuddy's is a "spin-off" from the original "Baldie's" pizza take-out, on Rt. 105 Lakeville. This was the first sit-down restaurant that they opened. Buddy is Baldie's son, and does a remarkable job in the meals he serves, pizzas he makes, and the entertainment he books. It is typical pub food, with a few "twists". The traditional meals are showcased by the creative side of Buddy's imagination. Try his Taco Pizza, or Fried Pickles. It has a small bar, "L" shaped, but from the moment you step through the door, you would think you were walking into "Cheers" in Town! Everyone is laughing, having a great time (check the entertainment schedule) the girls behind the bar are friendly, upbeat, and efficient. Once when my key fob died in their parking lot, one of them just happened to have a battery that she willingly offered to me! THAT is what you call "above the call of duty". Bring your appetite, and you don't need to break the bank, to get a great meal !! Whether you go to Baldies or Buddy's, you won't leave hungry......but as for me, Buddy's is more...
