I probably could’ve gone to two restaurants, sat, and ate down by the time I finished at lorenzos. First off, it took about 15 minutes just to get our server and once she took our drink and meal order, it took about another 15 minutes just to get some of our drinks while we had to wait more for the rest. When we were greeted we were greeted with a, “omg what a day, I’ve been here since 10:30 and I have to work tonight when i wasn’t supposed to.” Not even a hello. It was very uncomfortable because she was clearly not happy at all. While waiting for food and drinks, there were four tables near us that were having bad issues between, food being wrong, poor service, having no server, or waiting way too long for their drinks. The poor people across from us wanted to pay for their food since they were waiting forever to leave and so they asked the server and she yelled at them saying, “wait a minute!” We all bonded over the poor service; the whole section was appalled at the rude servers and poor service. The food came out at a normal weekend speed but our server was so inattentive, like SO INATTENTIVE. We literally were asking for a refill and other things when we got our food and as she’s “listening” she walks away. Clearly she heard us but found it better to stand in the other room talking doing nothing because she’s so annoyed that she’s there. By the way, if you are looking for some chef Boyardee quality pasta, the chicken parm is where it’s at 🤮. When it finally came time we were done, we needed the bill and boxes and so the host brought us boxes and as we are boxing our food, our server asked us if we needed boxes as she was helping us clear our dishes while we were boxing our food. The whole experience felt as if she had to say all the scripted waitress like things, she wasn’t even paying attention to us. We finally got our bill. Time went by as we waited for her to take our card even though she clearly saw it. Other tables were doing the same thing, the table next to us waited 15 minutes for the server to take their card. I’ve just never been to a restaurant where the service is sooo poor. It’s so disappointing because it’s really nice inside; great atmosphere. I’ve never seen so many tables have so many service issues including myself. It was a crazy experience to bond with tables around us about all of our issues. It was very comical and was the highlight...
Read moreEaster Sunday ....we called and made a reservation for 9 on monday before the holiday. We were called on Friday from a member of Lorenzo' s staff to confirm our reservation. My family all arrived 10 minutes early for our 2 pm reservation at which time were told would only be a minute they were preparing the table. A good 10 minutes go by and Now the lobby was jammed packed by 2:20 we asked how much longer because we kept seeing parties coming after us that were called and seated. Mind you they had more than 9 people in the party. This kept happening and another 15 minutes have passed, I asked the girls at the hostess desk how much longer we had a 2 pm reservation it is now past 230. Again we were told they're getting your table ready now and lo and behold they give it to yet another party that had more than 9 people who we overheard had a 2:30 reservation. When we approached someone about this they said oh we can through some tables together in the bar area which I found to be a suggestion made in extremely poor taste. We had our parents with us and our grandchildren we deserved to be seated at a reserved table. We were all pretty much fuming at this point. My stepdad called fishers pub down the road and asked if they can accommodate a party of 9. They said absolutely, come on in, which is exactly what we did. We had a good meal and great service at fishers pub. Point being I will never put my family through the fiasco that we went through at Lorenzos. To the owners of lorenzos a reservation is a reservation ..thats the whole point in making one. If 9 people isn't a big enough party for your restaurant, you should have let us know that when we called to make the reservation. My family is there every may to celebrate my mom's birthday which we've done for years. We also had a 25th anniversary party there. I can tell you this, I'm so upset and disgusted by the greedy nature you chose to run your restaurant on Easter, NO member of my family will ever be back If I could give you minus stars in the rating I would that's how upset we all were. Our get togeether wasn't a total loss though thanks to the welcome and good meal we received at...
Read moreThis may be lengthy but here it goes. Tonight I decided to give Lorenzo's a second chance after a disappointing meal several years ago during a holiday. Tonight started off fine. We were seated within about 20 minutes or so. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer shortly after that. Things started to go down hill fast after we got our drinks. Our waitress disappeared for what seemed like an a long amount of time maybe 10+ minutes. We waited patiently for her to return as we closed our menus and were picking at the bread that she had brought us. When she finally came back we were finally able to place our orders. We had finished our drinks and were waiting for her to come back so she could either see our cups or I could simply ask for refills. She didn't come back for quite some time. So long that the table next to us had another waitress take care of their bill. The manager had walked into the dining room with a tray containing our meals and all of a sudden our waitress suddenly appeared and delivered our food. She served our meals and was getting ready to leave we had to actually ask for a drink refill. When we asked for a refill she took our cups and left. Assuming she was removing the glasses to grab new ones (as what every other restaurant I've ever been to has done). No. She refilled the exact cups with the straws still in place. Not entirely sure which cup was whose or even if they were ours to begin with when they returned. That was strike 1. Strike 2 was that our food was cold not warm... cold Strike 3 during our time eating our cold food she never once asked how our meals were. The food tasted good but would have been much better had it actually been at a decent temperature. I didn't feel the need to contact a manager as I decided after strike 2 that I would just cut my loses and not return. I don't ever plan on giving them a 3rd chance...
