Subway — Restaurant in Middlebury

This is not the Subway we remember. My daughter LOVES Subway’s meatball subs and since we finally got some coupons in the mail for the first time in so long, we decided to treat her for dinner. We walked in with NO LINE! WOO HOO! That almost never happens at Subway (should have been my first clue). The employees were respectful and efficient the whole time (the reason for the only stars I’m giving). However, when we try to order, bummer. Out of meatballs. We were disappointed, but hey, I had a coupon to get three subs, so fine, kiddo, I’ll pay $6 for a turkey on bread. But then I get to the checkout. What? No coupons? Sure enough, there was a sign that I passed right over. Middlebury Subway no longer accepts coupons due to “hard economic times.” The guy behind me was surprised too. He turned right around without ordering! Wish I could have done the same, but my sandwiches were made so I had to pay full price. We might have returned with more coupons later this week, but now, we’ll be eating at home or going to Taco Bell. Coupons are an incentive to get people in your store! Now, we won’t be coming at all. You’re losing customers and money, so I hope you rethink...

So I was very happy to see that subway in Middlebury Indiana was offering delivery, so I went ahead and order steak egg and cheese wrap, and chicken teriyaki protein bowl and orange. Once I submitted my order 30 minutes went by received a text message saying someone stole my order they are re making it, 15 minutes went by received a message they do not have orange juice. Ugg skip forward get my food very cold. Steak egg and cheese wrap (was just steak and mayo) and it was so small like 3 inches long, and then the protein bowl had very cold grill chicken and very little veggies. 24.08 got me nothing worth paying for. This location really needs shutdown. I spent 15 min placing orders for all my kids paid online and drove all the way there for them to tell me it's cash only and no bread and no refunds until tomorrow. THERE IS 5 EMPLOYEES JUST HANGING OUT IN THERE..... Our economy isn't good at all to pay 5 employees and none of them can make a call to let anyone know there out of bread and also out of the 5 employees none of them can issue a refund.
