Luca's Pizza — Restaurant in Middlesex

I used to live in the area years ago. Met my wife, who's from Middlesex and moved away to NC. We used to love coming in here for pizza. It was one of the things we had in our list of must dos while we were back in town visiting family. Very disappointing visit. I was wanting a chicken roll. But none were available. When I asked about them, he clearly didn't want to make one. So instead we got slices. They had clearly been sitting there a while and were not good. We won't be coming back. Literally just ate the most disgusting, eggplant parm I’ve ever tasted. I came off of a 13 hour shift dying for a good eggplant parm. Came here bc they’re pizza is decent. The eggplant tastes like dirty, old grease. I can actually smell the dirty oil resonating over the watered down tomato sauce. No taste, no garlic, not even salt. Worst $13.50 I ever spent! I’m so tired and disappointed I’m just going to make an omelet for dinner. Thanks for letting me down Lucas! Straight up disrespectful! If only...

I used to go to this place a lot because the pizza is good but one time while I was waiting for my order I saw the guy who makes the pizzas scratching his armpit and then continue to knead the pizza dough with those hands without washing them. I thought that was gross and never went back there again. I also saw this person handling money and then touching the food for customers right after.
