Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Middleton

Was trying to order in the drive thru when one of kids working it was rude to me more than once over the speaker. We wait 10 mins in line just for her to be rude to me so I got out of line and went inside. I asked for the supervisor which happened to be her. She claimed she was being “nice” but she was knew she wasn’t otherwise why would I have gotten out of the long line from my car to come in! I asked for her managers name and with attitude told me, I asked her to write it down for me along with a contact number and she said she cannot give that out. I had to explain to her that I didn’t want the managers personal number but the store number. I asked her for her name and she told me with her smirky attitude. I asked her to write it down as well, she did but then threw the paper down at me. While we waited for over 10 mins for our ice cream, every worker behind the counter kept coming around the corner to see who Brittany was talking about then ran back to where she was. It is very sad that this establishment is having a bunch of young kids running this place. I heard a customer ask one of the 17 yr old worker what type of ice cream cake it was they picked out and she said “I don’t know” maybe….the proceeded to guess what was inside it. I’m giving 3 stars because I’ve had 1 good experience here but already 3 bad. Today I went through the drive through and ordered the original cheeseburger and a drink. I was already a few miles down the road when I opened my burger, only to find that they only gave me cheese and pickles 😭 they forgot the main part 😭 I was craving a cheeseburger so bad only to not even get the patty!

My first visit my chicken strips were only about 10% meat and the rest was breading. My second visit they wrung it up wrong and I paid $4 more then it should have cost but I didn’t have time to check my receipt and say anything before I had my food and had to go. 3rd visit everything was good. Today they missed the most important part of the burger😭 at least they gave me the right drink 🤷‍♀️

Edit: went again tonight and asked for sauced and tossed chicken strips with gravy. Got home, no gravy and my utensils were on top of my chicken strips so they were covered in sauce. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 5 times, sounds like I’m...

There’s not enough kind words to say about the Middleton Dairy Queen. My youngest sister, Grace Quinn, started working for them this past April and truly enjoyed her time there. Unfortunately, she passed away in a tragic car accident on July 10th. The owners Annalise and Cody have gone above and beyond for our family. Not only did they provide a day full of donations to our family to assist with funeral expenses, they also closed for the afternoon of her funeral to allow their employees to attend.
