We moved to Star about 7 weeks ago. We came to Kravz for the first time this evening.
Situated along Main St. in Middleton, it has a small parking lot and is located across from a park with a water feature designed to get you wet. You order from outside and there are tables with umbrellas to seating.
There was no one there when we arrived. We stood waiting for several minutes, though we saw staff inside. Finally, a young guy came to the window and took our order. After that, we received our ice cream quickly. As other reviewers have noted, the regular scoop is very big; my wife got a mini scoop and it was plenty. I should have ordered that as well, but I went for the regular scoop. Really, too much ice cream for me. I chose the Huckleberry Heaven and my wife got Pistachio. Both flavors, very good. Though it was very warm outside, not to mention poor air quality due to the fires, it was comfortable at the tables, with a slight breeze. Still, we didn't linger outside for too long.
Good value due to the large portions, and the ice cream was very good....
Read moreWe can start with the ice cream was great but the one scoop is a little absurd. They put so much ice cream in such a little bowl that it just melted all over the place. Then for form of payment we gave them a $25 gift card we had received. The gal ran the card and said that we owed $4. We gave her a $10 she took it and then came back with another gal and claimed that she needed to run the gift card again. So she did then they told us that we owed another $15?! I'm sorry but there was something wrong on their end. Someone not knowing how to do math or just scaming customers. The whole situation just did not seem right. They handed us these huge ice creams in tiny bowls no napkins. When someone asks for lots of napkins becuase you hand them an over flowing bowl of melting ice cream you give them LOTS OF NAPKINS not just one. If we end up going again we will just have to make sure to have a roll of paper towels in the truck and make sure to get an exact total and give them...
Read moreAll I can say is wow â Iâm truly disappointed by the customer service I just experienced at a small business here in beautiful Middleton, Idaho. I really hate to speak negatively about a local shop, but now I understand why their rating sits at 4.2 stars serving up ice cream. At checkout, you're asked to leave a tip before receiving any service â and I gladly left 15%, hoping to support a local business. Unfortunately, what followed was anything but deserving of that generosity. The young employee working the drive-through handed me a cup of melted ice cream that was dripping everywhere, including into my car. When I politely asked for a lid or a larger cup, I was met with attitude and told, âYou shouldâve asked for that when you ordered.â I didnât realize it would take 10 minutes to get three scoops of ice cream, let alone in that condition. Sadly, this experience was enough to convince me to take my...
