Anthony's Pizza — Restaurant in Middletown Township

EVERY TIME I USE MY DEBIT CARD AT THIS PLACE THE CHARGES CHANGE. IM TOLD 40.89 and I go and check my account and they take out an additional 9 dollars and that’s not including the tip I left. I call the restaurant and they tell me to call my bank I would if this wasn’t the 2nd time this month you guys have done this to me and I’ve even switched cards and it happens every single time. I spoke to the owner in person and I told him about this issue with the tips changing and he told me to not leave a tip and I have to see the same set of drivers weekly and don’t want to be the house that doesn’t tip in fear my food will be delivered without respect but as a person who orders from there once a week as a single mother who commutes 2 hours daily and works 10 hours a day the one night a week pizza is a treat for my kids and I so I don’t have to cook and I’m getting ripped off. This is completely unacceptable. And I want a refund. You guys have some sort of theft going on there! And u guys have an obligation to do the right thing by your customers especially when I can show the proof. I’m furious that someone thinks it’s okay to flat out steal!! Below is my bank charge and ur own computer screen sent to me!! I want a full refund and I’m sure you won’t care if you lose a customer but people need to be careful using credit or debit in your business. I account for every dollar and to be flat out deceived and just dead wrong.

SO THE OWNER MAURICE CALLED ME YESTERDAY 06.13 WOULDNT LET ME GET A WORD IN BECAUSE HE JUST OVER TALKS YOU. MUST BE A FAMILY TRAIT CAUSE HIS SISTER IN LAW DID THE SAME. SO A CONVERSATION IS WHERE BOTH PARTIES LISTEN AND SPEAK. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD HONOR MY REQUEST FOR THE REFUND BUT CONTINUED TO INSIST I TAKE DOWN THIS REVIEW. I SAID I WOULD TAKE DOWN MY REVIEW ONCE I WAS REFUNDED. HE TRIED TO REFUND IT BUT HIS SYSTEM READ POTENTIAL FRAUD SO THE REFUND DIDNT GO THROUGH. I WENT INTO THE BUSINESS AT 5:30pm I SPOKE WITH HIM FACE TO FACE FOR THE SECOND TIME I MAY ADD AND HE WAS SO RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS AND BEGAN TO BACK TRACK ON HIS WORD. HE SAID TO ME WELL ARE U GONNA TAKE DOWN THE REVIEW AND I SAID I TOLD YOU I WOULD ONCE I WAS REFUNDED. ITS ONLY RIGHT AFTER MONTHS OF YOUR BUSINESS OVER CHARGING. WHILE HE BECAME IRRATE AND THOUGHT IT FAIR TO YELL AT A CUSTOMER IN FRONT OF HIS EMPLOYEES LOL CAME SECOND NATURE TO HIM SO CLEARLY THIS IS A TYPICAL THING FOR HIM. HE TRIED TO DO THE REFUND AND IT ONCE AGAIN SAID FRAUD ON HIS END. HE CLAIMS ITS MY BANK BLAH BLAH BLAH I CALL MY BANK AND THEY TELL ME ITS HIS SYSTEM. I TELL HIM THAT AND HE SAYS HES GONNA LOOK INTO IT AND ILL HEAR FROM HIM. I CALL HIM TODAY AT 2:00 PM AND SAYS WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING HERE IM NOT GIVING YOU ANYTHING. LMAO I CALLED ONE TIME TO FOLLOW UP WITH HIM.

THIS OWNER IS NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD AND IT JUST PROVES MY STATEMENT BECAREFUL USING UR CARDS HERE BECAUSE HE ISNT GOING TO DO THE RIGHT EVEN WHEN HE SAYS HE WILL. HES A LIAR AND ITS A TRUE SHAME. LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE CAUSE YOU HAVE NONE AND AFTER THE COMMENTS IVE SEEN ITS A FAMILY CULTURE OF RUDENESS.

First off when I placed my order for delivery over the phone with THE OWNER at that … she lied and told me they had brisk iced tea without ever even checking to see if they actually had it in stock . She never even gave me a price for my order she just charged my card and OVER charged me at that . So I then called back after getting the notification on my phone that my card was charged for a ridiculous price (mind you my address was only DOWN THE ROAD 3minutes )and I told the guy that answered the phone I’ll just come in and pick my order up. When I went to go pick my order up the owner (the lady) was extremely nasty and rude with me . She handed me my order and gave me my change back for the delivery fee then when I asked her was my brisk iced tea in my bag that I ordered over the phone she told me to go get it my self . I then walked to the fridge to grab my drink but come to find out they DIDNT EVEN CARRY BRISK ICED TEA it was a different kind of tea. So she lied about them ever even carrying brisk iced tea and on top of that if I never changed my order to a pick up she would of charged me for the brisk iced tea but given me A TOTAL DIFFERENT KIND OF ICED TEA on top of over charging my card for a delivery fee . However she did give me my money back for the brisked tea AFTER I had to tell her over 3 times I wanted my money back because I did not drink any of the other drinks they actually had and my money back for the ridiculous “delivery fee” . When I opened my salad and looked through the middle it was A PIECE OF GROUND MEAT in my SALAD !!!!!!! Absolutely DISGUSTING AND CROSS CONTAMINATION! I will never eat from this place again very rude and clearly not clean...

I ordered two slices of cheese pizza and a order of hot wings with to Fountain drinks the pizza was hard I try to cut it with a knife that was not plastic provided by the lady that works there and the pizza was also tough and dry I believe it tastes old it definitely was not fresh this soda was watered down my hot wings was dry I had to get up and ask for more sauce I mean they were extremely dry I used to eat here all the time about a year ago in the food was very good I used to love that hot wings and love the pizza but obviously they have someone else cooking the food and that guy does not know what he is doing I wish they bring back the person that made the wings and pizza long time ago because back then it was very good also the time did I set my son and was pretty dirty and that was very disappointing I feel like the place should be family-oriented and they should have everything wipe down and clean especially the high chairs the table wasn't that clean as well there was also some flies flying around and then maybe Wonder was the Flies landing on the pizza if that's the case God knows that's pretty nasty.
