Osaka Sushi Restaurant — Restaurant in Middletown Township

I've been ordering from here at least once a week for the entire past year since I moved to the area. I love their sushi, it's fresh and hits the spot. Their bubble tea is good since the tapioca is usually really soft and cooked through unlike some other places that leaves you with hard chewy bits in your drink. We usually get the 3 roll lunch special, which is a cheaper price than the same deal from other restaurants, and even though they're regular rolls their size is decent and the rolls are filled. I've tried almost all their special rolls and they were all very good, some of them have enough in it to be a whole meal on its own (like the christmas roll). If it was based on all my other experiences here it would be 5 stars no doubt, but unfortunately the past few times it hasn't been very great. 2 weeks ago we ordered from here and my boyfriend got very sick for a few days after eating the sushi. I was fine, and I loved the food here, so I like an idiot thought whatever I didn't get sick lemme order more from here a week later. And then I got sick /surprisedpikachuface. The spicy tuna was very bland and tasted off, the eel was almost all fatty skin and no meat, and the seaweed has been inedibly chewy. Maybe they're just having a rough 2 weeks, but oh god I can't risk screwing up my GI anymore from eating here. 3 Stars for the joy this place brought me for the past year, I'm gonna miss my bubble...

Disorganized and inconsistent. I've asked ahead and had no issue ordering the 5 piece nigiri with all salmon on several occasions. Each time I've ordered with the very friend woman working up front there was no issue. One time I was informed of an upcharge per order, and when I asked there was a man working who said they upcharge special requests.Subsequent orders resulted in no upcharge, so I asked the woman and she said there should be no additional charges for a special request.

So I ordered online today and received this email, charging over $14 for specifying salmon!!! Insanity. Needless to say I canceled my order and will no longer be ordering food from here. Every other sushi place I've ordered from has had no issue specifying one type of fish, I'll be...

I can't believe I haven't left a review for this wonderful place yet. I found them during the pandemic when they were the only sushi place open. Back then, they had a great system to keep everyone safe. They've resumed sit down service, but I still always get take out.

Their food is absolutely amazing. Haven't had anything that wasn't fresh and excellent. The staff know me well since I am here pretty much every week, and they're always so friendly and helpful. I have never had a mistake in my order. The prices are incredibly reasonable. I have used their restroom before and it's spacious and always clean.

My only wish is that they had fried rice. Any kind of fried rice. Instead I just get extra sushi. Oh well! Definitely give them a try for...
