I recently had the jerk chicken with festival and rice & peas from a Jamaican restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The jerk chicken was perfectly spicy and juicy, with that smoky flavor that hits just right. The rice and peas were flavorful and cooked just right not too soft, not too dry. The festival added a nice sweet balance to the heat of the chicken, with a golden, crispy outside and soft inside.
