Creamlab N7, Ice Cream — Restaurant in Midland

I really want to like this place. The ice cream is good, but the service is really lacking lately. Last night, our party of 6 people came in at 8:10. The lobby was completely empty, and there was one order ahead of us. The first two of us ordered, and the girl behind the counter told us that because they were closing soon, they were only doing to-go orders. I was confused because it was only 8:13, and she said they didn’t close till 9:00. I asked if we could eat in the lobby if we were out by 8:30, but she said no, that we couldn’t stay. Because of that, no one else ordered, and we took our two ice cream cups to go. We didn’t have any small children or anything, so it wasn’t as though we would potentially leave a huge mess behind.

The ice cream tasted pretty good, and they have a lot of options, but $8 for a 12 oz cup that isn’t full seems steep to me.

My ice cream tasted nothing like strawberry cheesecake, more like plain cream cheese. Took over 40 min to get our order, and it was way overpriced! $35 for a rootbeer float and 2 ice creams is insane, they don't have small options either. Won't be back!!

And if I had the reciept to show you what we paid, yes it was very close to $35, in fact I'd even go as far as to look at my bank account to get the exact price for you, but since you basically accused me of being a fake person or a spammer, and you obviously value the lack of good help that you have, over a very REAL customer, I'm not going to waste my time. The reason for the long wait that night wasn't due to anything mors than your 3 young employees screwing around and talking rather then doing their jobs. I’ve been to Creamlab twice in the past 3 weeks. The first time it was amazing the ice cream was so cold and creamy at the same time. However, this time it was the WORST ice cream I’ve ever had!! First off, mine was the exact same as the time before, chocolate. This time their was undisolved powder all-throughout in my ice cream Ugh. My husband’s milkshake tasted watery like they forgot to add cream. I think the problem was the guy making the icecreams looked like he had no clue and he kept touching his face which was grossing me out. I saw them remaking someone else’s icecream while I was there so I think more people were having issues also.
