Ghengis Khan Mongolian BBQ — Restaurant in Midland

Came here from Chicago, IL where we've been to a similar place that encourages you to put your choice of sauce on top of the meat that you choose for your meal. Here no one asked of if it was the first time we were here or even walked us thru the steps. So with being to a similar place we figured we knew what there was to know. We waiting in line to make our food which is totally fine. But when we go to hand our food too the cooks they both had horrible attitudes because we had the sauce on our food. Our whole group did this because we thought it was correct. The cooks proceeded to talk down to us and tell us that our food will burn if the sauce is on and continued to talk about us to other customers. We asked to talk to the manager which happened to be the owner this particular night and he was just as ignorant to us as the cooks. The waitress was the nicest person there and told as that the cooks that were working this particular night were not allowed too cook her food because of how they act. We will not be returning when we come back...

The options here are almost endless. They have several different veggies, meats, and sauces so you can make your dish just how you want it. Rice and tortillas are also brought to the table when you sit down, and they have soup and a salad bar as well. You want shrimp fried rice? You can make it. Chicken alfredo with broccoli? You can make it. Steak fajitas? You get the idea. (Or you can just get a hodgepodge of things--like me)

Also, if you want a little something light for dessert afterward, take a bowl of pineapple up to the grill and they will grill it and put whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top for you. 😍😋

The only downfalls are that this place can get reaaally busy and then you have to wait in line for a while to get your food cooked, and also that it's not the cheapest...but you can eat as much as you want so it could be worth your...

My son and I LOVE this place. We try and go once a week to avoid withdrawals, but definitely every other week. You pick every component of your meal from meat, veggies to the sauce. So if you get something thay youydon't like, thats on you. They have cards that tell you what meat and veggies and sauce to get if you like a certain dish. They have a salad and soup bar all included in your price. They have very tasty cocktails and daily drink specials. I would recommend the Bloody Mary and if you are looking for something with more of a kick, I would highly recommend the Ghengis Khan. Very tasty...very potent. The waitstaff is awesome and we have our favorite girl. They have lots of sausces to choose from with an array of dry spices so you can make it spicy or not. It's just an all around great place to eat at a reasonable price for...
