J-Peno's #1 — Restaurant in Midland

It was a horrible experience every time I've been (3 different times). The first time they tried to give me change and it was counterfeit money. 2nd time I found a frozen fly in my ice cube. 3rd time which was today I ordered pastor tacos and the meat was burnt and in each taco it was 1/4 meat the rest was onions and jalepenos. I asked for lime he brought me lemons I repeated my request for limes he told me they just didn't have the green limes (even though it was clearly a lemon). The rice was under cooked and crunchy and the beans were scorched and he had the audacity to ask me to pay full price. I did. But I will N E V E R go back. I along with my boyfriend (we're both black, I'm half black and half white.) received no service, he sat the plates down and never came back to our table but went to the other customers (both Hispanics) table 3 times. HORRIBLE PLACE don't eat there save your money!!!! Wish I could've rated...

I’ve ate here and had alright experiences the servers are always nice though. But today I called a order for favor and the lady who works the phone and the window is rude and unprofessional. It’s one thing to put someone on hold when they call but it’s another thing to keep putting me on hold because she is preoccupied with something else interrupting me mid order. I get there and I’m met with occasional eye contact by her but ultimately no hello, no I’ll be right with you, and no service what’s so ever. I only got service when someone else came to the front desk and started doing her job for her. All in all your only as good as your worse employee. I suggest...

6.13.21 Ordered a Bacon & Egg burrito and specifically asked for no cheese (I have stomach ulcers so any bit of dairy can be incredibly painful) . Ofcourse, they put cheese on it so I go back and ask for another burrito and made it clear that I didn't want cheese on, that I had just ordered one the same way and it came out with cheese. The guy at the drive thru window didn't care much for the issue or my concerns. I got my second order without cheese but as I was finishing up...I find this in my burrito...can officially say I AM DONE WITH THEM! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Better off making my own...
