Mug Shots Coffee — Restaurant in Midland

At first I, like many, huffed at the idea of yet another coffee joint in town. However, as a coffee connoisseur, I made an attempt at trying Mug Shots out. Boy am I glad I did for many reasons. This place just got "it" right! From my first visit, here is a list of the things I enjoyed: -It's drive thru. Easy entrance and escape. Didn't have to leave my car. -The drinks taste like you waited five minutes at those other modern, industrial styled coffee shops in town. Maybe better. The staff was friendly. -Their cups are cute, maybe even fancy. -I ordered a large soy latte, they didn't skimp on the espresso or over do the milk. I got what I ordered. -I ordered a vanilla buttercream doughnut. 🤤 Literally the best doughnut I've ever had. They're homemade I think. If not, they're made with so much love you can't even taste the difference. This thing was packed with frosting. If it wasn't for the sugar overload, I would've finished it in one bite. It was $5, which may seem a bit pricey, however it was definitely worth every penny.

One small downside is that they don't open until 6am, so they're not for the first shifters who have to be at work at 6. Other than that, they would be my coffee stop of choice for my early mornings. Can't win them all, but I will definitely...

I was so excited to try this place as it is right between my house and my job at the hospital. I put in a DoorDash pick up order for 20 minutes before my shift thinking that would give me plenty of time to get my coffee. Get a parking spot and get clocked in.

I pulled up at the exact time of my pickup and gave my name. I was told they would START my order. While that was frustrating, I thought she just misspoke. When I pulled up to the window, she was helping another customer (of course, not a problem)

At 10:18, she STARTED my order. This gave me 6 minutes to get to work, find a parking spot and clock in. My frustration level was climbing.

At 10:22, 2 minutes before I should be clocking in to work, she handed me my beverage. I said “Wow, this is a 16oz?” She said “yep!” I said “guess I should’ve gotten the 20”

Coffee, donuts, breakfast sandwiches. They have a little bit of everything ✨ The location is absolutely perfect for those high school kids on lunch or like myself driving down Saginaw st. Very convenient. The service was great. I was the only customer in the drive thru line. It was quick and efficient. The barista helped w my order. Super friendly. This location has a drive thru and a walk up window which makes ordering more convenient and quick. There's a small sitting area you can sit and enjoy your coffee and treats while watching the cars drive by. Super cute if the weather is good 😎 The actual coffee itself is why it's not getting 5 stars. It was good...but it didn't have that...that something to really make it pop. They do have a great menu of items to pick from. Seasonal flavors well. *Pumpkin spice 🎃 *Apple flavors 🍏 etc. Prices were...
