We booked Mo and Hari's to provide the catering at our company's holiday party for 100 guests. I first spoke with Mo over the phone and then communicated with Mary via email to finalize all of the details. They catered Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, Rigatoni Bolognese, Penne Pesto, Greek Salad, Bread, & a Charcuterie Board. Unfortunately, the charcuterie was the only thing I grabbed a photo of, but it was all delicious! We also decided to add in the option of having their staff serve the food. They provided us with 4 servers who all worked very hard throughout the entire night! They served the food and also bussed the tables, making sure empty plates were cleared away. With great tasting food as well as excellent service, we will definitely be using them again!

Stopped here for dinner. The restaurant was pretty empty, but it was very early. The atmosphere was very cute and the decor was very pretty. For an upscale town restaurant it was very nice. I would have loved it if they added maybe some fresh bread at the table when you are seated. That would definitely been a nice touch considering there are small plates on the table for what would appear bread. We were however not served any. I had the fettuccine pasta and the noodles were very chopped up which I considered very strange. It was almost as if it seemed they were the last noodle broken off in the pot. They were also a bit overcooked. Just not what im used to for sure. Also an option for fresh cheese on top of the Italian dishes would also be nice.

We visited tonight for the first time. I love Italian and we have been looking for a local place where we can enjoy Italian cuisine. My husband’s ribeye was very good, flavorful and juicy. Cooked to perfection! My mom had the ribs and she loved them! I ordered the lasagna but unfortunately I was not impressed. The meat was bland and the lasagna was drowning in red sauce. I did not enjoy my meal, but I am glad that my mom and husband enjoyed their meals. Other things to improve: my husband’s side dish of mashed potatoes came out after the meal was done, he ordered coffee and never received it, the bread is just too hard and we prefer a heartier Italian bread. The young waitress was extremely attentive and pleasant. Kudos to her for her service.

We went for our first time to celebrate New Year’s with a group of friends. They asked if we’d like to start with a cocktail; I asked what sipping tequilas they had, she stated let me go check, came back with two recommendations & I chose the Don Julio 1942.(I didn’t realize she could have brought me a drink menu) Next, my friend & I had a salmon dish, the salmon was way overcooked & having both been in restaurant business, we asked for a new dish. The owner apologized & explained they had a new cook on the grill that had just been promoted & it was absolutely overcooked We get it. It happens. We all had another round of cocktails & then got the bill. My tequila was $55 a glass! I took it up with the owner & he showed me the drink menu with the price clearly stated very rudely, not asking questions or listening. I didn’t want to make a scene any bigger than he was making it, so we paid & left. I sure wish our waitress had shown me that drink menu first & I would have chosen something different. An entire bottle is about $150. Needless to say, we won’t be back since the owner was extremely rude & rigid. I would have been happy to pay $30-maybe $40, but $55 tells me all I need to know. I’ve had this plenty of times at other places and nowhere is it $55 a shot. This was our second time being ripped off by this owner; another situation occurred at a former Waxahachie restaurant. You know what they say…fool me once…

It’s unfortunate because restaurant business is tough, they have good food, but integrity counts for me. I wish there were a category for that, which is why my rating is an overall 3. Maybe it was our punishment for sending back the...

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t be happier. I’ve been disappointed over and over by the food quality in Midlothian, but this spot did not disappoint.

First, our server, Logan was really helpful in describing items on the menu, giving recommendations, and being attentive for the full dinner.

We ordered the calamari as a starter and it reminded us of the calamari we had at the Capital Grille - flaky, well-seasoned, and with mini sweet red peppers that added great bursts of flavor. It’s served with a delicious buttermilk jalapeño ranch sauce. Mo also brought us out his famous Focaccia for our anniversary on the house (so sweet!). It was DELICIOUS - the bread was so good, and the basil spread was a stand out and paired so well with the cheese and tomatoes - all the flavors played so well together.

For our entree, I ordered a special (farafelle with pork) and my husband got the NY strip. The pasta was delicious - so flavorful and the homemade pasta was cooked perfectly. The NY Strip was super tender and the fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. chef’s kiss

I also ordered a cocktail: the blueberry bourbon reviver. I loved it - sweet but not that sickly syrupy sweet and with great smokiness from the bourbon.

The ambience was also great. Many family pictures of Mo making it feel welcoming, but nice table and chairs (super comfortable chairs) making it feel fancier. And the Frank Sinatra playing made it feel like a real Italian bistro.

My hubby said this is his new favorite restaurant in Midlothian, and I have to agree. Will definitely be...

How do I even begin? This restaurant was absolutely outstanding! It was my birthday and my parents live in Midlothian so we drove down from Dallas for my birthday celebratory dinner. It was our first time at Mo and Hari's and believe me, they did not disappoint! From the service to the atmosphere, to the food, everything was top notch. Growing up in the area and not being back for several years, at least for a night out for dinner, I must admit I was so ultimately impressed! Mo and Hari's is on par if not better than some of the 5 star Italian restaurants in Dallas! Everything was so delicious and house made. Handmade pasta & bread, fresh salads... the lasagna was unlike anything I had ever had before, just scrumptious! Our server Jennifer was wonderful and her descriptions of the menu items were described so eloquently, she had my mouth watering! Jennifer was so attentive and so very kind and personable. We absolutely loved her! The most important thing I would like to mention is my stepfather is having some dementia issues and Jennifer and the manager Derrick were so kind and attentive to our needs. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, compassion, patience and understanding during our visit. I cannot recommend Mo and Hari's enough! Do give them a try! I promise, they will not disappoint. Thank you Mo and Hari's you are truly a diamond in the rough and we...
