Honestly, after waiting an hour for our food without warning of the 30-person party in the back.. beyond our waitress clearly distracted by many things to do (I hope busy working) ... in the end, the food was not good at all. Gyuro loaded fries were great. But, my burger was best described as tasted dirty. The tenderloins my family members ordered tasted like they were fish battered, dirty, and not in one piece. My fathers Philly sandwich was unrecognizable and had plastic cheese flavor that tasted like it had come out of a bag with no effort at all. Luli’s Restaurant in Milan, Illinois is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. We had heard about this place from several friends that we had to visit. Glad we did! We had the turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy which was homemade and delicious. Lots of food that we had to take half home. We also had the chicken dumpling soup which was fantastic especially on a cold day. I also ordered their Reuben sandwich which was the best I have found in the Quad Cities. I find it that a gratuity of $8.74 was added to my bill when the service was terrible. I have fish, with baked potato, and coleslaw every Friday night. First the fish showed up, and 2 minutes later the coleslaw. It was another 6 minutes before the baked potato showed up. It's like the waiters did not care about my food showing up all at the same time. I was not going to leave a tip due to the service. The food has always been great. But this is no way to rip off the customer. You will not see me...
