Valley Hotel — Restaurant in Mill Hall

This was our 1st trip there today and will not be back! Wanted to try something new to us and prefer to support local businesses. The waitress was kind! Let me start w that. The dining area was dingy. Mainly boothes and we needed a table. So we found a seat in the back portion of the dining area. A long table area w a few, I'm thinking 4, tables put together to make a whole. The restaurant freezers were next to us. They need cleaned! The whole place needs cleaned! It was very dingy and dirty looking! VERY Dirty! The tables we sat at were not cleaned from whomever sat there before us! The floor was gross too.... Anyway, we ordered our food hopeful the food was better than anticipated based on the experience we were having. NOPE the food was not good. The cheese steak that was ordered was ok! The fish dinners not so much! The Fish platters, 1st one Fish, shrimp, a crabcake and Fries. And the 2nd was Fish, shrimp and cucumber salad. Everything but the cucumber salad was fried for death!! It didn't look appetizing at all. It was very fried! The final fish dinner was a non breaded, baked piece of Haddock, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The fish was done well, had no flavor. The Mac n cheese, I literally asked the waitress if it was from a box!!! She tried to tell me it was not..... However, I wasn't sold. It was beyond over cooked pasta, it was mushy, the Velveeta she said they used was so thick it was gross. Like seriously, why are ya using Velveeta??? The drinks, sodas, came from boxes laying on the floor, a. Cup of ice was offered. Unsweetened tea was requested, sweet tea was delivered! 🛑We do not recommend this place! 🛑Save your money and go to Curts...

my wife and i wanted to try some place new to eat. looking at menu and prices and reviews we decided to give it try. NOT. as soon as we open the doors there was this cloud of smoke we could'nt breathe my wife has copd must have been a pool leauge going on . they would'nt move out of the way for us to get by and when we did there was only like two tables no dining room we could see it was so loud so smoky we turn ed around and left. what a joke. nothing but good about this place at all if somebody ask me about this place my...

We went for the famous fish dinners on Friday night, it was the first time ever going to this establishment. It was very good,the beer battered fish finner is awesome, the Mac and Cheese....very cheesey and yummy. We also sampled some wings and they were perfect. Tuesday night is all you can eat night and we do plan on attending this to try more wings. We had perfect service, the ladies were very nice and took care of us well.
