Came to Stinson beach without checking the weather is not a great idea, but a giant burrito and tacos would always come to save the day.
Pros: Massive portion. I could have split the burrito with husband but we ordered 3 dishes instead. Worry not, we came in hungry so we managed to finish them anyways.. it's a little spendy, but justified with the portion. grilled oyster is always great! they still open even though the other restaurant are closed. Thank goodness.
Cons: salsa was too acidic. Unsure if its the tomato, or excessive amount of lemon juice, but it kinda overpowered the other flavors and ruined the burrito a little bit. steak and the shrimp, including the rice was bland: I wish they could put some seasonings to it ;( otherwise it would have been perfect.
Ah and one more thing.. they gave you the to-go boxes by default. It’s such a waste if you’re planning to eat onsite anyway. They could have used reusable utensils instead of adding more unnecessary wastes to the...
Read moreYou have to go to this cafe! Even though I got hella car sick on the ride through the mountain's winding roads and butt kissing curves, the chicken nachos at this cafe were AMAZING! I had to ask the guy which was better, the fish and chips or the nachos. He wasn't lying when he said get the nachos if you are hungry. The guac was so good! My friend got the fish and chips, they looked great and confirmed they were, in fact, "really freaking good." My other friend got the reuben, and she stated it was outstanding! It has the proper of kraut to beef ratio with perfect cruchiness! At first, we were a little concerned about the price, but it was worth every penny. I spent under $30 with tip. If you can stand the cliffs with sharp rocks at the bottom, you have to go...
Read moreThis place looked very cute and relaxing after a long hike so we decided to stop for lunch. The food was not very good: my Nashville chicken sandwich had a gummy crust and the sauce was like a sweet and sour sauce, not even close to a Nashville hot sauce chicken sandwich. The tritip sandwich was dry, overcooked meat without enough sauce and the ciabatta was hard and tall making it mandatory to eat with the plastic fork and knife included. We got 2 slushies which were good. Total the 2 sandwiches and drinks were $74! Absolutely insane for the quality. Clearly this place exists as a respite for hikers or tourists after visiting the beach. Go here if you’re rich and hungry after a workout so you don’t mind the mediocre fare and...
