šŸ“@localkitchens has just added some new tasty options with a fresh new look. Luckily the Mill Valley location is right in my backyard. So I quickly ordered my cravings from their app and got notified when my food was ready for pick-up. I got some tasty options from 5 different places - @Square Pie Guys, Turkey and The Wolf, Proposition Chicken, @Boba Guys, & Nopalito. All this under one roof? You have to check it out today! #DestroyEats • šŸ“Local Kitchens (Locations across the Bay Area) šŸ“741 E Blithedale Ave Unit 775B āž”ļøMill Valley, California • #localkitchens #millvalley #marinfoodie #sffoodie #bayarea #deliveryfood #eatlocalkitchens #bayareaeats #marincounty #sanfrancisco #šŸŒ¶ļø #spicyfood #detroitstylepizza #tacos #friedchicken #comfortfood #lunchtime #dinnerideas #šŸ•#deliveryfood #foodhall #locallove #bayareafoodie

I'm not from California, but I'm debating moving here just so I can enjoy this Local Kitchens more often. Walked in not knowing what to expect because I saw the menu online and was surprised by the amount of variety. They offer many options of sandwiches, pizza's, salads, burritos, and more! The guy at the counter—who I assume was the manager—greeted us as we walked in, explained how to order, and offered help incase we had questions. Now, I say that he "explained how to order" because you walk in and the big screens above the counter do show some options, but your full menu will be on a kiosk located somewhere in the restaurant. It's really easy, you scroll through and select what you want, pay for your food (at the kiosk), kitchen receives the order, and you wait. This, of course, is if you're dining in, which I was. For those introverts out there, I'd highly recommend this place. I said maybe two or three words to the guy, and they were just "thank you's". The manager was encouraging his team, and giving them praises when they got food out in 10-15 minutes. My food came out in approximately 11 minutes. And that was despite the fact that they had about 5 orders before mine. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a side of prop spiced fries and a Classic Black boba as my drink. My chicken sandwich was phenomenal. I genuinely think that was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was crispy, yet tender on the inside. Not to mention, they weren't stingy with the mayo and the pickles, which earned them bonus points from me because I love pickles. The fries were well seasoned, crispy, and fresh. Delicuous. The milk tea was perfectly sweet, refreshing, and delicious. I had never tried Locak Kitchens until I came to this location, and now I wish so badly that we had them in my state.

Like a food court but you order from one kiosk. Scroll thru the limited menus for various resturants and place your order pay and watch the order status board... very accurate timing. There is a single unisex restroom down the long hallway to the right of the pickup counter. The bathroom is clean and spacious. I ordered the spicy extra combo chicken sandwich $15.00. Comes with a sandwich, can of soda and small coleslaw. The spicy chicken sandwich from Proposition Chicken is really good nice thick sandwich with a good amount of heat. The sandwich is THICK....had to unhinge my jaw. I just love the relish that went really well with the heat. My wife got the Tam Tam Rice's the Rich Pork Belly Tam with broken rice $16.00. The dish had many small side dishes. Tomato basil salad, pickled cabbage, Do Chua, and egg omelet. The rice is good. The pork belly is grilled and really smokey...very crisp and very flavorful... the only downside is the pork belly was a bit thin.

Updated review: their menu has changed significantly and no longer has a veggie burger...they've got limited Veggie items and the ones they do have are. "Eh"

I've not ordered from anywhere other than the melt, at this location. I've never had a problem with my order. The staff that works there, is kind and courteous.

The problem i have with this business model is the human (customer) element. You walk in and to the right is 3 iPads to place your order, behind the row of iPads are the menus to view, its a very similar situation like at a restaraunt, replace the iPads with cashiers waiting to take your order. Common sense says, stand back look at the menu, then proceed to the iPad when you're a little more familiar with what you want. I think sadly, technology has made people less intelligent, so what you get is people staring at an iPad commentating on things, looking at the menu, talking to their partner about what they want, should they share this, get that....how was work....all 3 iPads taken up by the same scenario, while people wait to just place a simple order....also the extreme lack of awareness, is just mind blowing, look around humans....hey theres someone waiting, maybe we step back and look at the menu until we're ready....NAH that makes too much sense. Yes I totally get how petty all this sounds, its a 'fast food' restaurant, but humans are getting less and less capable at just being aware of their surroundings and I think this type of business model is a perfect example that most people aren't ready to be trusted to be the waiter / cashier & customer.

but hey the food i've had was good, so just be prepared to deal with annoying customers (if you're an over analytical type like myself) during a busy...

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø 6x8 Detroit Style Pizza – A Must-Try

This 6x8 Detroit-style pizza is easily one of my favorite pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Yes, it’s $26 with hot honey — but honestly, it’s worth every penny.

The cup-and-char pepperoni are next-level: crispy, perfectly placed, and loaded with flavor. Combined with the burnt cheese edges, every bite is rich, textured, and just plain fun to eat. This pie has serious character — bold, indulgent, and balanced.

I also had the salad, which was really well-executed. Fresh, well-composed, and the quality of the chicken stood out — tender and flavorful. That said, I personally needed a bit more dressing than what was provided in one container (next time, I’ll ask for an extra). A pinch of salt and pepper brought it to life, but overall, it was very solid.

I tried the pita/shawarma as well, and while it was unique and definitely tasty, I didn’t feel the value quite matched the price the way the pizza did. It could use a bit of refinement to match the standard set by the pizza — but again, flavor-wise, it was still very enjoyable.

Service is always prompt and professional, and I’ll absolutely be returning. The food has heart, flavor, and clear attention to detail —...
