I was just in last evening and purchased 2 ranch fries and a combo club. It was only taken 2 blocks away to be eaten, and it was being finished while we were waiting. When the food was opened 2 blocks later, to say it was disappointing and lackluster is an extreme understatement. We order at least once or twice a week and all I order are taco fries or ranch fries. Our food is usually very good and well made..... until tonight....
The ranch fries were very undersized and the fries were undercooked and grease soaked, non-existent ranch seasoning and a meager amount of cheese (I ordered extra for both orders) and a decent amount of bacon that unfortunately seemed to be sitting in the back all evening. The club was ordered with extra mayo and after scraping off what seemed like the whole mayo bin, to say the amount of mayo was excessive is yet another understatement. This is only the beginning....
I call back in right after seeing the condition and quality of our 22.00 order of food, only to be told the manager made the food(I will not give out the managers name, it’s poor taste) and the orders were all right and basically it was what it was. I wasn’t offered a new order or refund or anything but attitude. I have never been treated so poorly by a small mom and pop french fry stand in my entire life. I can’t post pics here but I have pics of both untouched orders.
I called back in today to speak to the owner (once again I won’t give out the owners name, poor taste) only to be told by her that she has been in business for 45 years and her manager she believes because she has been with her since she was in high school, so I’m guessing maybe a few years. Now mind everyone it is only speculation as I am no authority on age. But after years of bartending in my late teens and twenties, I would have carded her. She then wanted me to bring the old grease soaked and smelling fries back in to be inspected and to see what she saw fit to do after seeing if the fault was theirs..... like seriously.... At this point I want nothing, I was not looking for any handout of any kind. I was only conveying my disappointment with my dining experience and I might as well saved my breath. I am chalking this up to experience.
I myself have been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, starting out in the trenches as a bartender and bouncer and working my way up to the position of Executive Chef. Everyone who knows me knows my passion and love for food and in this field I am a professional. More people than not value my opinion when it comes to food. I would never have treated a customer the way I was treated last night. In such a competitive market I was always instructed to make the customer happy even if it means taking a hit once and a while. Better to take a hit today and keep their business and their families for generations to come. I guess times have sadly changed.
Basically once you get your grub it’s yours, no refunds, no corrections, no sympathy, no kidding. I am not the first person to have recently been treated this way. I’ve read like reviews.

When I pointed out to her there is nothing to be rude or yell or scream she became defensive and didn't care of what she was doing. Please whoever owns this place correct this person, she has a very ugly, nasty attitude and demeanor on the phone. I changed my mind not to bother with buying or ordering from Williams.
