Millington Inn — Restaurant in Millington Township

We stopped in here for a late lunch today and probably won’t return to eat here again. It could have been an off day for this restaurant, but the food was less than ideal. The salad was the best thing about the meal. I had fish and chips and they looked like frozen fish patties. The baked potato did not look fresh and I think it is hard to mess up a baked potato. The bun was old/stale. I even said, “This isn’t what I was expecting” and the waitress asked if I needed to take it off my order and get something else. I should have! The other people in the party ordered a hot turkey sandwich and a steak and onion wrap (which was cold). We all agreed it was not a great meal. I was informed by one person in my party that they ordered ranch dressing and never received it. Having said that, the service was quick and the staff were friendly albeit, forgetful. The restaurant also passed on a service fee to use a credit card. It seems to me you should be informed about the fee prior to getting charged. I know places are starting to do this, but I believe it is the cost of doing business. At least, the customers should be informed prior to the charge. I asked for a take away box but later threw the food away. I dropped $50 here for food that I took home and...

The bartenders were amazing and friendly. The cook became very enraged when I sent my burger back due to incorrect order. I specified that I wanted a bunless burger with nothing on it and mayo and mustard on the side due to dietary restrictions. He sent out my burger with a pile of Miracle Whip. I tasted it, knowing what it was. When I questioned if it was Miracle Whip, he rudely said, "it says salad dressing on the jar!" To which I replied, "yeah, that's miracle whip and I can't have that" He stormed off as I yelled, "I didn't order it that way and I damn sure didn't order your bad attitude!" He started slamming doors and throwing things in the kitchen. I offered to pay for it anyway but declined to get a corrected order as I believed they would mess with my food and cause me to get violently ill. The bartenders apologized, explained they didn't know why he was behaving so poorly, and removed the charge from my bill. I'll never eat there again as I can't digest drama or nasty...

Absolutely AWFUL service. We keep trying this place in hopes the food will be better or the service will improve... Neither has happened since the last shutdown last year. You guys have very ignorant and rude wait staff. The food is always colder and when I order an appetizer or "starter" you bring me my food first, then get upset and rude when I tell you I don't want it anymore. You're excuses are you're short staffed and have been slammed... EVERY ONE IS SHORT STAFFED AND EVERYONE IS SLAMMED. but everyone else continues to service customers with outstanding hospitality. While sitting there waiting 45 mins for food, I noticed multiple people come in then leave due to ignorant waitresses and no clean tables.

Manage your restaurant better or do us all a favor...
