3/31/22 Last evening i tried to place order for carry out and no one would answer phone. When I arrived, I asked if the phone was not working. A young man said yes, just not answering…busy. The restaurant was busy but not packed. I placed order and paid tip for carry out. I told the young man I will be at bar having a drink. I watched people walk in, carry out orders going out. I sat there for an hour. I saw a bag of food setting on sales counter thinking that can’t be mine. I would think when my order was ready the young man would have said mr. Bob your order is ready. He took order and receiving tip. I finally asked a waitress I ordered carry out and I have watched people coming and going, carry out orders in and out. The girl went to counter and said that was my food. That food sat there for at least 20 min. I stated if that was my food why didn’t the young man let me know. I’m upset. THe girl proceeded to tell me that it was my responsibility to get up from the bar and monitor my order. She stated this twice. I came unglued. I said it’s my responsibility. Where does the young man earn his tip? I’m setting 10’ away. He took the responsibility to take order, take the tip. What about doing the job. I’m handed cold food. I get home only to realize I have to return. One of the orders was steak fajita's, without the fajita's! What the hell! There was no I’m sorry. My food was cold. Opened to investigate by others. All the young man could say was they were In the other bag. Do you think I would have returned if they were in other bag???? Horrible experience! If this establishment wants to rely on inexperienced young smart mouth youth to run their business, I will not return. They want your money, the tip, but expect you to just take their inhospitable, uncaring behavior. They will not get my money any more!! There’s a Mexican restaurant on every corner. Train the staff! I’m expected to pay, tip for the mistakes of the kitchen, the lack of care of the hostess, and the smart mouth of the server. Read moreWe had a pretty of 16 we were told that they didn’t take reservations but that they would get us a table that would accommodate us this was three weeks prior to us getting there they took are name ad number we all get there and the young man at the front desk was so rude to one of are friends at 80 years old told us they didn’t have a table and didn’t know when they would get us one then I went and talk to one of the workers they told me they remember us snd they would get us a table in about 10 minutes then about 35 min later a manager came said they were working on a table then in about 25 more minutes the manager came back over and was very rude she got vet nasty with us know there was a storm going on out side we had kids with us and 3 older people in there 80s and no were to go for a Birthday dinner for my daughter in law I understand if we wouldn’t have included we had a table and if they wouldn’t have treated us the way they did and spoke to us that way we wound up walking out and going down to Papa Vito‘s that treated us so good and they went out of there way for us a $175 dinner Bill and a very nice tip want to thank them very much for helping us out lady Saturday and as for as Mariachis sham on them for talking to the customers the way they did and treating us the way they did I think the owner need to rethink...
Read moreI'm sorry to say we will no longer be dedicated diners here. Our last experience left us puzzled. We have dined here 25-30 times a year since it opened locally. We spend between $1,300 - $1,500/ year here and always tip 20% or more. The experience was typically positive until last night. My husband ordered his usual meal and it came without the toppings it has always come with. He asked the server and she was adamant that it never came that way. This turned into 4 different servers & manager coming to our table telling us that what we ate every week there wasn't true. It shouldn't have been a big deal, but they made it into one. We've also made a habit of checking our bill as we've been charged for other tickets on at least 3 occasions. Yesterday they charged us for fermented salsa, which we had never been charged for salsa before. Then the manager said that my husband complains "all of the time" which also surprised us. Manager said he complained twice about dry rice, which is true, but we don't equate this with all the time or an uncalled for complaint. We felt bullied and that they had something out for us.
