This is an off-the-main-road-hidden-gem. Staying at a nearby camping location we passed this on our way in and made a note to lookup the menu and pricing. We decided to give it a try for dinner and were thrilled with the results. This is a small family owned restaurant that does an amazing business. Every item is hand prepared in a small kitchen and is made at the time of order. The menu has a lot of variety. Order online or in store. There is some inside seating as well as an outdoor deck with a total of about a dozen tables. On this hot July day at 6:30 they were doing a brisk business in the kitchen with lots of takeout and delivery orders going out the door and only a single couple dining-in. This is about a mile off the main road through Milton NH (White Mountain Highway). If you are traveling the Spaulding Turnpike / Route 16 in either direction in the Milton area you can exit either side of Milton and pass by this restaurant without having to go too far out of your way. I think this is well worth the detour and look forward to our next meal here. Great food and friendly,...
Read moreWhen we first got our food home, we couldn’t even tell which one was mine and which was my husband’s. I couldn’t find one piece of mango in my dinner. I ordered the mango curry. Then when I did, I noticed why I couldn’t find it. What mango was in my plate was over ripe mush and seemed almost like it was on the verge of rotten.!!!! Also, when I looked at the ingredients online to what they put in my mango curry, I did not see eggplant however, there was eggplant there!! Really good thing I don’t have a food allergy cause I could’ve ended up in the hospital!! I’m not very fond of eggplant. Spent $70 on Dinner for me and my husband and we were both pretty disgusted. In addition my husband’s red curry had pineapple in it…Never had red curry with pineapple in it. The curry puffs i ordered were limp and soggy..Too pricey and worse Thai...
Read moreI have been on the hunt for good dumplings since visiting Toronto and I have finally found them. We had heard that the food at Lakeside was amazing so we finally made our way over last weekend. It's a cute little building tucked into a corner, right next to an ice cream place. Although small, there is plenty of seating both inside and outside. The parking lot is small and I'm assuming wheen both businesses get busy, it may be difficult to find parking. We ordered dumplings, pork fried rice, curry puffs and a noodle dish that I can't remember the name. The dumplings were the star of the show with a nice thin wonton and plenty of meat. The curry puff was also amazing. I didn't care for the pork fried rice but it was decent, and the noodle dish was VERY good. Overall everything was excellent and we'll definitely...
