Viva Pancho Cantina & Grill — Restaurant in Milton

Not going back: The food is not an issue here, it's the atmosphere. SO LOUD all the time. Bingo, trivia, cheesy musicians, 'lively' crowd, teams, kids at their own tables, etc. We have tried this restaurant several times, hoping we can enjoy our meal and still be able to hear each other over all the noise, but no. Service is hit and miss, restaurant is crowded/small, so although I think the owners are trying, it's just not a pleasant experience for my fam. The servers often seem stressed, and I am sure navigating from table to table in the crowded space is frustrating, so my guess is that is why there are few trips back to the table to check on diners. If you need handicap access/space for a wheelchair, or a high chair, keep the space in mind, and maybe avoid high traffic times. We are not going to return. I can see why some people like it, though. The food isn't bad, and if you are looking for a louder, rowdy atmosphere where you can also allow the kids to be loud, this is your spot. Chips: Not the best. Things that are good: steak entrees, grilled chicken entrees, the chicken soup, nachos. Not anything special, but good. If you visit Hacienda, I'd say it's similar. Just plan to say "What??" to your date more than a few times, and take the risk of the server not being able to hear your order, thus bringing you the wrong thing. I think this restaurant will continue to thrive because of location/convenience to neighboring subdivisions and the decent food. Update 01/25/2024 Still high quality food, prompt service and fresh food. What do I love other than the portion sizes but now the presentation of the food🤩. It seems like every year this place gets better and better. I left my past reviews for you all to read. Come here for drinks, with family, friends, children or date nights! Come Karaoke and meet the locals and have a great time. Either way, you can never go wrong coming to this amazing family friendly restaurant! It's the one restaurant our whole family loves to visit!

Update: 5/12/2022 This Restaurant is still offering high quality food, even surviving strong through the pandemic. Right now, I reccomend trying the lobster tacos! Texas Margaritas are tasty. Staff is friendly, helpful and gets to know the locals. I still reccomend coming to this great restaurant. Don't wait! Go today!

Amazing Mexican food. Had the Texas Nachos. Whoa. Seriously, the serving was impressive! The flavors were perfectly balanced with the shrimp, steak and chicken. The meats were so tender, it did not even seem real. No, it was real. It was very real. The service was also great. The server checked in on us often to make sure we were happy. I’m giving it a 3 based on 2 trips. If I had reviewed after our first visit it would have been an absolute 5. Our waiter was fantastic. He was very attentive and nice. The food was delicious. He did forget the tortillas with my carnitas but it was fine. Unfortunately our visit tonight was barely a 1. We went in for a quick drink. The bartender completely ignored us. He walked past us 4 times. No eye contact even though we were looking right at him. We didn’t even exist. After sitting there for about 10 minutes the manager noticed we hadn’t been helped and got us our beers, some chips, and cleaned the mess of plates and glasses around us. I finished my beer and sat with an empty glass for another 5-10 minutes. The bartender still had not said one word to us or acknowledged our presence. He ignored my empty beer 3 times as he walked past us. He actually left the bar for a good 10 minutes. I’ve never come so close to leaving without paying. I completely understand being busy, but it doesn’t take much to say “Hey guys. Sorry I will be right with you”. Finally as we were clearly getting aggravated and impatient another server came to the bar and asked me if I wanted another beer. We said no just the check. That took another 10 minutes as she had no idea what we ordered. Very frustrating.
