Food is usually good however customer service and honesty seems to be lacking at least in the Milton branch. Several months ago the staff took it upon themselves to add a tip on a card for a takeout order. I stopped back in and approached them on it and they advise that it was impossible for them to have done that despite me having my copy of the receipt and the print out from my bank statement . Apparently my wife looked like an easy target for this fraud and they didnât count on someone actually keeping and checking receipts to their accounts. It wasnât much but it was still the principal. Fast forward to today, I decided to give them another shot however decided I would pay with cash. Myself and one other person placed our orders at the same time and when we went in to pick it up ask them to split the bill. I paid for my pizza in cash and the other person paid for their pizza on their card and the staff member was overheard complaining about having to ring up the two items separately. If I thought about it I wouldâve turned around, walked back to the counter and taken the tip I left in the tip jar out telling him it was too complicated for them to figure out. I Have gone to this Zacharyâs since I was at least seven years old and over the years spent countless Meals there. No more, this will Be my last. First, they made one of our calzones incorrectly, we took the incorrect one anyways because we were hungry. When we cut into it, the cheese wasn't melty, in fact the middle was nearly stone cold. I brought it up and asked for another, and maybe with the original fillings we asked for in the first place.
The waitress, Kary, is awesome. We love visiting with her when we come in. She went back in and asked the cook to make another. I couldn't hear what he said, but it sounded like her was upset. We waited about 20min and the replacement finally came out. Unfortunately, that one wasn't warn in the middle either, though the bottom was burnt. We also noticed that none of the calzones had ricotta, as stated on the menu.
I kept the replacement, because I was really hungry at this point. The person I was eating with was done eating by now, when all of a sudden this hideous rap music started blasting out of the kitchen. At that point we just wanted to leave. When my husband asked them to take it off our order they split the physical order in half and before my husband was even out the door they were asking if anyone wanted a free sampler (what they had pulled out of our order). Why not just give it to us? By the way the wings are spicy so being a nursing mom I couldnât eat them anyway. When he got home we opened our subs only to find they were both completely wrong, both had cheese when we asked for no cheese and they both had the works which they werenât supposed to.
