Burger King — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I pulled up at the drive thru today and I was waiting for a while next to the menu board. There was only one other car in front waiting by the window to pick up their food, and another one on the second lane of the drive thru. A couple of minutes pass and another car pulled in behind me. It was taking very long and I hadn't heard a word from the employee taking the drive thru orders. The lady behind me was asking me if I had heard anything yet and I told her that I had been waiting for about 10 minutes and I hadn't heard from anyone yet. Immediately, an employee got snarky and said through the microphone "you've been here for 7 minutes and 20 seconds. I'll be with you in a moment. I am on my break." For one, is the place not staffed properly? Secondly, that's the first time I've ever gone to a fast food restaurant and had to wait because a worker was on their break. Thirdly, the employee could have said that to begin with and I probably would've been more understanding, instead of giving me the attitude. I didn't engage him - the lady in the car behind me and I both backed out of the drive thru. And a car on the other lane followed suit once I let them know what I'd been told. This was at 1:00pm, peak lunchtime. And there weren't a lot of customers. Judging by the previous reviews, I can see why. This is the second time I've been to this Burger King. The first time they weren't...

So here's the problem with this location: they don't know how to multi-task the drive-thru.

We arrived first, nobody else there.

We were there for a minute before anyone acknowledged we were there.

A second car came up in the other drive-thru lane; they put us on hold. Which makes NO sense since we were first.

They never came back to us until AFTER they had fully delivered the other person's order and they were already gone.

Theory: something's programmed to acknowledge "Lane 1" into a specific headset and not "Lane 2" (which we presumably were in). But the fact we were acknowledged at all means someone knew we were there AND should have realized we were first.

I don't think it was malicious, I think it's a training and management issue where they don't know how to multi-task properly; and that should be addressed because the other car got their food quick once they...

I came to eat here but before I ordered I went to wash my hands and well, the restroom was dirty. Came to the front to ordered and noticed the whole place was dirty, like if they used the wrong liquids or dirty rags to wipe stuff up. I ordered the iced coffee, jr chicken sandwich, spicy chicken nuggets, and small fries. I got the nuggets regular not spicy without dipping sauce. There was no naptkins so they gave me paper towels. Most of the ladies in the kitchen were not presentable. And I believe they should wear hair nets. Specially the person with long and colored hair. The dinning area was dirty. The tables are not wiped, there is trash on the floor. It seems like they are not proud of working here. I'm not from here so this place will put bad reputation for the other establishments...
