Ordered Jamaican jerk chicken with rice and beans. Price was reasonable. Portion was small compared to other places, but the price was low. Jerk sauce tasted like barbecue sauce with hot sauce in it-which wasn’t bad. Rice was okay, I think it had small bite size potatoes pieces in it. The cabbage was beige, and not flavorful. Overall, if labeled a spicy chicken meal-good. Not gonna mentioned customer service or atmosphere. From prior photos and reviews — looks like things have changed a lot. Probably won’t be back-I can make my own barbecue chicken dinner.

I called my order in the lady was real nice when I got there! Food was pretty cheap $12.50 for the brown stew chicken & I asked for extra sauce .50cent no problem! The juices are $4!!! The food was hot and fresh!! The stew chicken was flavorful but not over powering ! Nothing to spicy or salty ! Just right, the cabbage was fine !! Go here if you arent trying to wait 2 hours for food ! Also the jamaican oxtail is $25 one size !! I was kind of sad she said they didn't have oxtail gravy.

Save yourself the stress and avoid this restaurant at all costs!!! It took FOREVER, wasn’t hot, and wasn’t even prepared correctly. The large jerk chicken was literally two pieces of chicken. The curry shrimp was six pieces of shrimp. They also sent burnt plaintains. There’s NO WAY anyone in the restaurant industry would think this is acceptable to serve. (Picture attached.) Food wasn’t seasoned and pretty much inedible. RUN. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT $200.

While driving around looking for lunch somewhere other than the boring and mundane fast food circuit, this little hole in the wall place came into sight. The restaurant is very small, has limited family seating but does offer counter dining too. The menu features cooked-to-order standard Jamaican restaurant fare along with a dry erase board of daily specials and "American food." Most menu offerings are offered in two sizes, standard and large for a few dollars more. I ordered the large portion curry chicken. The entree consisted of midly-spiced curry chicken along with rice and plantains. The food was of high quality and the portion was plentiful. The owners are very nice and went out of their way to ensure our food to-go was carefully packaged and bagged. The prices were fair and four people were able to get lunch for under $50. Next time while in the area, we'll be sure to order...

Authentic JA Taste! I ordered curried shrimp, cabbage, yams, and rum cake and was pleasantly pleased. Oftentimes, Jamaican restaurants don't serve food done the original way it's made back home but get away with it because people do not understand what it should really taste like (i.e., thinking Taco Bell is true Mexican food). This right here though was the truth! The curry was not hot and they burned it well enough to not bother my stomach; the shrimp was deveined; the cabbage was AMAZING! - no frozen veggies tossed in as filler (YES!!!!); yams were awesome too!! I loved the co-owner wife, a fellow yardie, who is as sweet as ever!! I no longer live in the area but would hands down come back here anytime I'm in town so that I know I'm...

Okay, I'm Just going to have to be honest & say that I visited this restaurant earlier today on the recommendation of a Caucasian friendmate. They said this is the best Jamaican food they ever tasted. Ha! That's a laugh. I mean don't get me wrong, the bit of jerk chicken that I tried was tasty. But I had personally ordered the catfish, and I couldn't believe when the owner bought out 1 whole filet, plus 3 smaller strips of catfish. She then had the nerve to ask me to be honest with her & tell me which size was the correct size of catfish. I was dumbfounded. I told her that the larger piece was the correct sized piece, and the strips is something that I feel...
