I went to this establishment this afternoon and asked for 1lb of catfish nuggets my spouse asked for shrimp. I requested that the shrimp not be cooked with the catfish due to the fact that i am highly allergic to Shellfish. The guy at the counter immediately became defensive and told me that because the catfish and the shrimp were in the same family that he would prepare them together. Completely overlooking the fact that i said I AM HIGHLY ALLERGIC. He started to raise his voice (yelling at me) saying they are in the same family. I tried to calmly explain to him that im allergic to shrimp and all other shellfish and preparing my catfish nuggets with it would cause an allergic reaction. He then shouted that he can just give my money back. I was so disappointed that he couldnt listen to my concern that i just took my money back and left his establishment. Very poor...

JJS is the what you see is what you get type of establishment however many say this is the best one. So I had to see for myself and if you follow my reviews then you know I cut no corners. Iโm gonna go ahead and say that this might be the worst one in the states! Cold food that had a magot lack in flavor which cmon its chicken the seasoning should be most of the ingredients. The bread was soft white bread with more seasoning on it than the chicken like they threw it on top lbvs. The fries should be the only thing they serve to the general public and the saddest part is that most things never really live up to their name! Visted here dozens of times. I get the catfish dinner, fried hard with lemon pepper. Large portions of good-looking catfish filets. Light and crispy on the outside. Soft, flaky, and moist on the inside. Perfect every time. Never burnt, never hard.
It is hot and steamy. If food is kept in the container too long, the batter may get more soft than desired. Needs to be eaten soon as it is ready.
