Today I enjoyed lunch at @tricklebeecafe a pay what you can community cafe that offers delicious vegan & gluten free meals. They have rotating chefs with an ever evolving menu based on the chefs creativity. Today I@chefmamazakiya had some hearty beef(less) stew over balsmati rice, jalapeño cheddar cornbread I, Peperoncini & feta salad, avocado mouse & ginger kombucha lemonade @solful_kitchen_is always on the delicious desserts Make sure you visit them wed-Saturday to support I #veganmilwaukee #vegansoulfood

So it's really a cultural divide between vegans & non vegans. So we had to do it! The goal has always been to bridge the gap and make vegans feel seen, heard & cool. Today we served black bean burgers to a record breaking number of 125 persons. I asked and received more than expected. Thanks for always showing up 🦋 Ps.. vegan usually respect their body or the environment too much to indulge in meat but yes we still miss some of our favorite meals #blackbeanburger #milwaukeeburger #veganrestaurant #gfrestaurant #gffriendly

Great vegan restaurant on the Northside of Milwaukee close to the Sherman Avenue neighborhood. This restaurant is a pay what you can restaurant run by volunteers. We had a sandwich plate which included soup, salad, sandwich, and cookie. We also had lemonade. We decided to eat outside on the tables provided outside because I had my dog with me. The food was delicious. I especially loved the soup with had greens and black eyed peas and the cookie, one of the best oatmeal cookies I’ve had! (Would love the recipe). It’s great to know there is a place like this on the north side. Beautiful funky murals make this corner attractive and inviting. Congratulations to Tricklebee Cafe on this great venture!

This is not just a restaurant but a vibrant community institution that brings the entire community together over delicious, hearty, fresh cooked food. Tricklebee does more to unify the community and break down barriers of racism, redlining, and bigotry, and then all of our politicians and business leaders combined. The community programming that Tricklebee hosts, such as the Clean Water Program, community dinners, fundraisers, and more, sets it apart from most other spaces. They 'pay-what-you-can' model is impressive and generates a true sense of community reciprocity that is rare...

This is the BEST cafe in the area!!! It is a pay as you can cafe, with delicious vegetarian/vegan options made with local fruits and vegetables. They don't have a regular menu as their menu options change daily depending on their shipments of food received for the day. The staff is outstanding and so polite. This cafe is EXACTLY what the community needs! I highly suggest if you haven't tried Tricklebee Cafe to give it a try. Allow your soul to be feed with hearty and...
