The park is getting a much needed facelift and I’m not mad at it. The park was full of working parks ppl and I happened to stop one to ask about the pool. He told me the splash pad will be open and ready on the first day of summer, there is a new bridge being built that take you to this beautiful building across the way. I took an hour stroll and will be back for whatever local events at this park.

There is plenty of space, picnic tables and a nearby play structure. We hosted out first Pride in the Park this year and set up / clean up was easy due to all of the available amenities.

I'm so happy that I live so close to this really amazing park. For its location, the park is clean and safe. I've never had a problem when I go. The park is kept clean and groomed. Also you can spot some pretty cool birds and little nature buddies along your walk/run. They even have a nice little splash bad for the kiddos.

Washington Park Senior center is where we fellowshipped with a few other churches to meet, greet, laugh and enjoy. It was really nice. This Senior Center was big enough and had plenty of parking. The area was clean as far as I could see and there wasn't a lot of people on Saturday afternoon. Further away was the playground. It...
