Yum Yum Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I ate here yesterday 10/20/22 and bought the salmon bites (with yum yum sauce) and rice and beans. Let me tell you....the food was on POINT! The food was cooked to order and tasted really GOOD. My father and I ate it and he even said "ummm, this has a really good taste." My dad doesn't normally eat out so for him to say such a thing - speaks volumes. In addition, I was pleased to see that it was ALL black men in there doing their thing! The establishment was clean. The service was GREAT. You get a nice amount of food. I was able to eat twice from 1 meal. You get greeted when you walk inside and when you leave out. Staff was friendly and everyone seemed happy. I went back again today 10/21/22 to get the salmon bites Lbvs (with the yum yum sauce). This time I couldn't even wait to eat - before I knew it, I was eating in the car. I swear they should put a sticker on the box that says no eating and driving Lol. Kudos to this company. Keep pouring LOVE into your cooking and service! All the best to you all with much success...

This was my 1st visit here! I was looking forward to it because of what I heard about there signature salmon bites but unfortunately I wasn’t able to try them because they were out! Which I didn’t understand how your signature dish isn’t available. But OK…🤷🏽‍♀️ Also nothing available to drink but bottled waters. The atmosphere was clean & staff was polite but I wasn’t impressed with the food at all unfortunately! The fish & shrimp was seasoned well & I liked the flavor but it also had a bit of taste of being fried in old or not fresh grease! The chicken was bland & regular. & the fries were cooked in what seemed to be old grease as well. Also I went before 2pm so the grease shouldn’t have been like that unless it’s not drained & disposed of nightly. I don’t feel it was worth $35.00. I wish my experience would have been better but I wish the owner all blessings...

I finally was able to go to this restaurant that I heard so much about. I was pleasantly surprised, the cat fish was DELICIOUS! The chicken wings were AMAZING. Perfectly seasoned extremely flavoful! My friend was right for once. The food is simply fabulous. When I called my order in a polite gentleman took my order, when I arrived I was greeted & I felt welcome. Clean environment, smelled and looked incredible. I enjoyed my french fries alllll day, they were good even cold!! I will return early next week to try the Salmon bites! I found my go to place...
